I couldn't help but feel provoked whenever Saqib would talk to Safa. I don't know whether I'm right or wrong but I have this strong feeling that he likes her. He always tries talking to her and that triggers me. The way he would look at her. The way he would smile at her. Gosh sometimes I feel like killing him first and then letting him know that she is my wife.

My wife? Well I didn't knew what is wrong with her. She was good until she came to have her breakfast. Does it have to do something with her mood swings? I couldn't point what might have happened for her to be angry on me.

I was walking absent minded, almost near Safa's room when I bumped into someone.

"I'm sorry." I said maintaining a distance from the person.

I looked at the floor to see Aliya.

"Are you okay?" I asked hesitating to whether to give her my hand.

"Yeah I'm okay." She said smiling at me while I nodded my head.

"I'm sorry. I wasn't looking while walking." I said and she raised her eyebrow at me.

"Thinking about a girl huh!?" She asked me and I couldn't help but feel embarrassed.

"Ye... I mean no." I said rubbing the back of my neck.

"Sure you weren't." She said smirking.
"Who is she?" She asked me with a serious look and I looked at her depicting whether to speak or no.

"No one." I said shrugging my shoulder while she looked at me for a few seconds.

"If you don't wanna talk, fair enough. But if you wanna talk, I'm here for you." She said and I noticed the sincerity in her voice.

"Sure." I said smiling at her and she nodded her head before leaving.

I looked ahead to see Safa glaring at me.

Ya Allah what is wrong with her.?

I walked towards her but before I could reach her, I was called. Turning around I looked at dad to see him calling me. I turned around to see Safa leaving. Sighing I walked towards dad and he started telling me about the function that's going to take place today.

The entire day I was busy with the preparation for the mehendi ceremony. I could hardly move and that was the reason I hadn't even seen or heard Safa. I looked at the backyard. The decoration was done in  a dark blue and white colour that being the colour code for everyone. There was tables around and candles on each table. The lighting was dim and since there weren't going to be many people present, it wasn't separate.

I looked around to see Rehan busy talking to Rida. I looked at him to see him raising his eyebrow at me.

I shook my head and walked away to get ready. I was heading towards my room, when I heard Safa's voice. Turning around I looked at her I felt my breath hitched.

She was looking immensely gorgeous in the blue dress she was wearing. It was a dark blue colour salwar with a white kameez. Her head was secured with a blue and white hijab and she hadn't done any makeup. I couldn't help but stare at her who was talking to someone whose face wasn't visible to me.

Taking out my phone, I messaged her.

Hey gorgeous! -Saif

I looked up at her to see her looking at her phone and then looking around. Her eyes fell on me but she did not react. Instead she said something to the other girl and left. I hurried after her but was called. Turning around I looked at Aliya who was looking at me confused.

"Yeah?" I asked turning around while she glanced in the direction I was going.

"What happened? Why are you running?" She asked me and I thought of something.

"I forgot something, so was running to get it." I said thinking she would accept it but she looked at me for a few seconds.

"Are you sure?" She asked and I smiled at her.

"Yeah." I said and she nodded her head.

"How do I look?" She asked taking me by surprise.

"I'm sorry what?" I asked her back and she looked flushed.

Maybe she is embarrassed.

"Nothing, you may go." She said and I nodded my head.

"Thank you and you look good." I said smiling at her and ran away.

"Where did she go?" I whispered to myself looking around when I found her in the kitchen with Rida and Farheen.

"Excuse me ladies." I said and walked inside the kitchen to see all the three girls with different facial expressions.

Safa was glaring at me while Farheen was smiling at me and Rida well she was having a poker look on her face.

Why is she always with an expressionless face?

"Safa I need to talk to you." I said before anyone could enter and she raised her eyebrow at me.

"You want to talk to ME?" She asked acting surprised and I narrowed my eyes at her.

"Who is Safa here?" I asked and she glared at me.

"Fine talk." She said and I looked at Farheen and Rida who were not ready to leave us alone.

"Not here." I said and Farheen giggled.
"It's personal appi." She said loudly making me and Safa go red due to embarrassment.

"Farheen." Rida said and she kept her finger on her lips, trying her best to hide the smile on her face.

"Talk here." Safa said and I shook my head.

"Come with me." I said while looking outside to see if anyone was present.

"I'm not coming." She said and I looked at her for few minutes.

"You'll regret your decision." I said smirking at her but Rida came in between us glaring at me.

"You cannot even touch her." She said and I did not say anything to her but just walked towards Safa.

"Saif don't." Rida said and I could see the anger in her eyes.

"What have I done?" I asked her annoyed on her behaviour.

"What have you done!? Like seriously you are asking me that question? Don't YOU remember what you did?" Rida yelled pointing a finger as if accusing me for something.

I looked at Safa who looked shocked. She kept her hand on Rida's shoulder trying to calm her but she did not listen. She shook her shoulder while Farheen looked shocked too.

"Don't you remember how you'll got married? Don't you remember your first... " She was about to say something else when Safa stopped her.

"RIDA STOP." Safa yelled and I was taken aback.

"What is going on here?" I heard Rehan and he looked in between us.

"Nothing Rehan." Safa said smiling at him but he still looked unsure due to the tension in the air.

I suddenly lost the ability to look at Safa. I couldn't see at Farheen. I felt guilty about the things I had done with Safa. I couldn't help but feel helpless. I wanted to go in the past and change the things but that couldn't.

Without listening or saying anything I turned around to leave but the words I heard from Rida made me feel broken,

"You do not deserve Safa."
