I stared at Matt. "Do you honestly think this is a good idea?" I asked from my perch on the end of his bed.

"It's time Hanna." He replied without turning away from the full length mirror. He adjusted his collar for the thirteenth time.

"I'm just not sure I'm ready for that level of commitment." I sighed as I rolled back onto the covers.

"You're committed now right?" He asked, turning to face me with worry in his eyes.

"To us? Of course! I'm just not ready to commit to the hate messages and never having any privacy. I heard that some crazy girl got ahold of Jordan's grades when she was dating Hayes to see how smart she was." I ranted. Matt jumped on the bed and rolled next to me.

"That was just a rumor. The fans will love you." He said, pressing his forehead against mine.

"Baby, I hate to say it but part of your appeal is that you are single." I whispered.

"But they know I can't stay single forever." He said with an eye roll.

"I haven't even met your friends yet." I replied.

"But you've met my parents." He retorted. "Stop looking for excuses babe. You can do this. It's time to quit hiding our relationship."

"I'm not looking for excuses. I'm being reasonable." I said. Matt rolled his eyes for what seemed like the billionth time and stood up again.

"Well I'm filming a video about you whether you're in it or not." He said exasperatedly. I tugged on the hem of my shirt and stared blankly at the far wall, scanning the fan art people had sent to him. "Babe? Yes or no?" He asked from in front of his camera.

"Fine. Yes. But only cause you're cute when you pout." I said, hopping up to join him.

*The Next Day*

I stood in line at Starbucks, waiting for my chai tea latte before heading to some photoshoot Matt was doing. "That's her." I heard someone mutter behind me. I turned to look at who they were talking about. I met the harsh glare of two girls who seemed to be just younger than me. I looked back around in the hopes that they were staring through me.

"That's Matthew Espinosa's girlfriend?" The second voice chimed in. Great. They were talking about me. I turned back to them and smiled.

"I'm Hanna." I said, holding out my hand to them. Their stares softened and they both shook my hand eagerly.

"Can we get a picture with you?" Girl one asked excitedly. I nodded and posed for a few different shots until my name was called. I grabbed my latte and hurriedly said goodbye to the girls.

"Please follow me back on Twitter!" Girl two yelled as I rushed out the door. Ha. That wasn't too bad, I thought, as a began the walk to the beach photoshoot. My phone began to vibrate in the pocket of my jeans. I pulled it out and answered the call.

"Hello?"

"Hey gorgeous." Matt's voice echoed through the speaker.

"Hey baby what's up?" I asked, checking both ways as I crossed the street and headed toward the water.

"Just calling to check up on you. Are you on your way here?"

"I'm just around the corner. I had to stop and get some coffee." I said, whipping off my shoes and beginning the trek through the sand to the rocky cove.

"Oh I'm aware. I follow you on the app Celebrity Spotter and you've been spotted four times in the Santa Barbara area in the past thirty minutes." He chuckled.
