Reminiscing Us [ A Clintasha Short Fanfic]

1: Arriving Vormir

SOOOO i just watched Endgame and my Clintasha heart bloomed to a thousand flowers. I've been shipping them since the avengers and now... it pushed me to do this.

A sudden glow of light opened their way to land on the ground. Automatically, Clint and Natasha's helmet swiftly opened as they exchange glances, inhaling sharply and heavy breaths as they turn their head to check their surroundings.

"So... this is it..".Clint said as Natasha smirked, glancing at the dark shade of large waterfall-like clouds colliding in the sky. Thin fog filled the area as Clint checks his wrist. Natasha checked hers as they glanced at each other."Vormir...so in that top, that's where the soul stone is".Natasha said as Clint nodded, holding her hand as she smiled, holding his back as they walk their way to the entrance.

They stealthily, slowly walk their way as Clint walk past her, making sure to guard her at any cost as Natasha chuckled a bit."No need to act so tough Clint, you know i can handle myself".she said as Clint smirked, stopping as he faced her."Pff, you know damn well that sometimes.. you need to be protected".he said as he patted her shoulder. Natasha smiled as she glanced at the mysterious eerie of a place.

As they walk, Natasha gulped a bit. It's been a while ever since she and Clint did some missiom together. There are times that things get messy and all but, she knew in the end.. they always get out, safe. But she felt that this one is gonna be a dangerous one that need tons.. tons of miracle.

Clint noticed her silent demeanor, a bit disturbed she's worried. He stopped, facing her as she exhales deeply, looking up at her."Whatever that is your worrying about, you know it'll be fine right?".he sais as Natasha smiles, holding his hand as he hold back, their eyes gazing at each other in trust as she inhales sharply.

"But i can't help but worry.. what will happen.. whatever's in there.. and look at us.. just simple human beings with a hand gun and a pack of arrows".They both chuckled as he grinned at her."It'll be fine.. trust me".he said as he lean in, making her flinch a bit as he planted a soft warming kiss on her forehead. She closed her eyes, adjusting at the sudden rush of romantic excitement.

Flashes of thousands of small memories flash through her mind as she remember the first day she was assigned to target Shield, the day they fought, the day he spared her lofe and befriend her, reached her very obsidian soul and the first time she knew she was inlove with him. The times they fought on missions, the times they stare secret glances.. their first kiss.. everything. She felt her heart hammered as she opened her eyes slowly, seeing Clint smiling at her with full determination and care as she calmed down. Thoughts and doubts on their mission fading away as the continued walking.

They reached the very entrance as Clint walk on guard. She was looking out at her surroundings as in a quick glance, they both acted up, Clint grabbing his arrow to aim it with his bow forward as Natasha grabbed her hand gun, aiming it also on where Clint is aiming as they glared at the mysterious floating figurine in the darkness.

"Natasha Romanoff, daughter of Bezukhov".the mysterious voice uttered as they glared at the mysterious floating silhoutte."Who the heck are you?".Clint said aggressively as the figurine glanced at him."Clint Barton, son of Edith...".Natasha clicked her hand gun as she stared at it."State who you are and we're fine hm?".she said as the mysterious figurine came out on the shadows, revealing himself as Clint and Natasha stared at him.

"Who are you and where is the soul stone".Clint asked as Red Skull stared at them."You're seeking the power of a stone i once had been seeking.. a power that cursed me.. the power i can never obtain".he said as Natasha gave Clint a warm nod, ensuring their safe. They slowly lower down their weapons as Natasha stared at him."Where's the soul stone?".she asked as Red Skull looked at them."What you're seeking is beyond you.. come with me".he uttered, floating his way forward as Clint and Natasha gave exchanged glances of curiosity as they follow him forward.

They stopped as Natasha and Clint widened their eyes, they were staring nearby an edge of the cliff as before them was a huge waterfall colliding huge clouds glowing darkly as Red Skull moved between them."Beyond you is what you seek".he said as Clint chuckled in disbelief, glancing back at Red Skull.

"T-This guy is nuts! How the heck are we going to get it?".he said as Natasha crouched a bit, observing her surroundings."I mean.. up there? No, this is a trick".he muttered as Natasha stared at the sigh below them. She bit her lip as she glanced at Clint."No..no his telling the truth.. this is what Nebula told us what this place look like".she said, standing up as she walk pass him to stare at the glimpse of the bottom below the edge of the cliff as Red Skull stared at them.

"In order to take the stone, one must sacrifice the one they love.. a life of another.. a soul, for a soul.. a everlasting exchange".he said as this gave Clint a disbelief look as Natasha stared at the bottom, Red Skull's words ringing in her head as Clint grits his teeth."No..no..this is nuts.. this is a trap isn't it? A trick? To kill us? You wanted to kill us huh? Who-... Who ever you are!".he exclaimed as Red Skull remained still as Natasha drifted a bit.

"Thanos.. with my sister Gamora, went to Vormir to retrieve the stone.. they say a mysterious being is guarding it, a cursed one who once wanted its power".Natasha eas listening intensely, writing down every detail when she glanced to see Clint standing on the terrace. She stared at him, worry and flashbacks on the night she found him in Tokyo and his family part on the decimation filled her thoughts, almost missing what Nebula had said.

She closed her eyes, trying to recover what she heard last time as several flashbacks flooded her head. She opens them as she gasp a bit.

She glanced back to listen as Nebula is seen looking down with Rocket talking with Tony."He came back with Gamora gone.. he killed her in order to take the soul stone.. a soul for a soul..".she said as she stared at her intensely.

"a everlasting exchange..".

"No..".she muttered as Clint glanced at her."H-He's right..".she stands up, walking her way to look at Clint with with full realization.

"Its not a coincidence Thanos came back without his daughter.. he offered her to get the stone..".she said, glancinf at the horizon as she sighs.

"A soul for a soul, a everlasting sacrifice of a exchange".Clint stared with little worry and realized what she is saying. He took one step towards her as she face back at him. She took one step closer as well, their foreheads touching each other as they both closed their eyes.

"Sacrificing the ones they love".
