"Kali come see real quick" Jasmine yells
Hearing her daughter running on the hardwood floor, "Wassup ?"
"Your mom wants to see you" Jasmine says tossing her phone to Kali
"Oh, wassup girl" Kali says laughing while picking up the phone which showed her mother on FaceTime.
"Nothing much, I was seeing if you wanted to go to dinner tomorrow with me and your grandpa. He's requesting to see you."
"Ummmmm where we going ?" Kali asking playing the the comforter
"Where you wanna go ?" Zai asked, "I'm pretty sure pawpaw wouldn't mind where we go."
"Oh aight, well can we go to that taco place."
Zairea didn't say anything meaning she probably nodded her head, " letting me talk to your momma."
Kali handed me back the phone, and came sat on the bed next to me. "Yes Ma'am" I answered
"Can I come get her or do you have to drop her off ?"
"Nah Alina not here, your welcome to come through." I say
"I don't understand why she doesn't like me; we've never spoke to each other." Zairea she's chuckling
I didn't answer just shrugged my shoulders. "Have you talk to Shawn lately?" I ask trying to change the subject
"Nah why ?"
"Nothing I just haven't heard from him."
"He loves me." She mumbles in disbelief almost
"I know." Catching her off guard. Her face expression made me laugh a bit.
"How do you know ?" She finally says after a few seconds
"Its the way he looks at you."
"Oh." She says staring into space
"Where are you?" I asking seeing the backseats in her truck
