Chapter 5

Several days had past and i got use to the daily life on board.
Id usually be found relaxing on deck. Or in my bedroom.

Which usually meant reading or sleeping.
I got on well with rouge and today i was doing something new after yesterdays battle which left me a little low on blood.

I had got to the room and lifted up one of the floor board where i gathered some empty blood bags.

I slowly began filling a fee up before i fell asleep and woke several hours later. I took some more going way over what i should take and sealed the bags. I put the date i bagged it as of 42 days the blood expires. I put the bags into the floor and hid it before leaving.

"Are you alright?"
"Your very pale."
"Ye. Ill be better once ive slept. Don't worry... Too much... Can someone... Bring me food... Che-"

I fell face first into the floor as everything was dizzy and i couldn't see straight.

"Ill take (y/n) to her bed. She can sleep this off."
"She looks ill not tired."
"She sleeps everything off. She even slept through the first day we arrived. We leave tomorrow and she still hasn't really left. She left for a few minutes to buy stuff that was it."

Time skip 8 hrs later.

I shot up like a dart and realised i was in my room and saw the moon from the window.

I went on deck and looked at the stars.

I watched as the stars fell and i began feeling at peace.
I felt my foot tapping the floor as i started singing

I jumped not sensing anyone was their with my haki.
"Who's the lucky man?"
"There isn't one. Don't think there ever will be."
"Who knows. I'm sure someone will love you."
"Who knows. If i think i wont, i wont be disappointed but i can be surprised."
"Although true, don't you think that's a sad way to look at it?"
"Maybe. But spending 40 years alone, i don't really care."

I began watching him leave and i went to the crow nest finding it empty.
...
I didn't even care as i fell asleep counting the stars.

Next morning
On duty pov

During the night i had tried getting to my post in the crow nest to find myself unable to. So i had to find a new way into the nest not through the hatch.
I jumped narrowly missing the edge to the nest and pulled myself up on over the side seeing (y/n) asleep. Her tail was sprawled across the hatch and i tried to hold my laughter in at the sight. She looked like an accident happened. She was in the most uncomfortable looking position with hair absolutely everywhere and she snored.
But somehow, she looked relaxed and at peace.

I gently went over to her and took the hair out her mouth and she slightly jolted but didn't wake up.

I took my job as usual but careful of the girl who's tail tried tripping me up often.

Eventually i heard the captain shouting.
"Has anyone seen (y/n)? Shanks has came ill?"
"She's asleep here cap but i wont wake her."

Your POV

I had been somewhat awake the entire night as i felt someone's presence but it was a warm and gentle one. They meant no harm and put their coat over me during the night and removed hair from my mouth.

I woke up at some point but i did pretended to be asleep so they didn't think they'd wake me.

Until i heard captain saying someone was ill and immediately jumped up and jumped over the wall plummeting to the deck and smashing my face.
"You alright?"
"Ah yes. Whos ill?"
"Shanks and buggy."
