Chapter 2

I started looking at the ship as i had followed my... Captain.

"It's rather big."
"The ships housing a lot of pirates. We don't have anywhere you can stay at the moment though sorry."
"Im Happy with the crows nest. No need for a bedroom. Never had one before."
"Everyone deserves a proper bed on this ship."
"I slept on leafs for the last few decades. A crows nest in the sky would be good enough."
"You sure?"
"If your building a room a library then. But no bedroom."
"We've needed a library!"
"Ill take the crow nest duty."

I flew up and cut the ladder up.
"Why would you cut that!?"
"Privacy. I don't need to sleep like everyone else. Plus i can fly. So no one else needs to enter my bedroom."
"You did say she could have it as a bedroom... And you wouldn't want men intruding would you?,"
"But its the cr-"
"What would your wife, the navigator say if she was the one in the crows nest."
...
"You win. As usual."
"Thanks Rayray!"

A tickmark arrived on his head.

"Don't give me an annoying name. Ray or Rayleigh.,"
"K k rayray!"

He went to chase me but i flapped my wings and i was safe in my Crow nest.

At that point only shanks, and buggy which i learnt their names through their constant arguing, ray and Roger knew i existed.

So when night came, i heard a rookie moaning he could get into the crow nest.
Being nice i thought if tell them... but they shot at me and screamed monsters.

Which honestly hurt.
ALOT!

"Why is there gunshot?!"
"A monster!"

I watched as roger slapped this boy across the boat and sent shanks and buggy to gather everyone.

Their was a whole collection of faces as i stood their in my nightie.

"Introduce yourself."
" I am (y/n) Kaida. Im a dragon born. I'm also you dr on this ship now and i live in the crows nest and take that duty."
"Apologies (y/n) i forgot to ensure everyone knew."

I waved my hands frantically in front of my face.
"Its not your fault! Don't worry!"

I left with everyone else to the medical bay only to be disgusted by what i saw.

I made my way through the ship barging my way into Rayleigh and rogers room and dragging them by their collars to the medical bay.

" Who brought this medication? "
"Me! I did well right?!"
"NO!!"

The captain jumped slightly.

"You got Royally fucked. Most of these are seriously out of date which becomes poisonous. Secondly i have no idea what some of this shit is."

I held a box to them and they looked at me questioningly.
"Ypu don't know what that is?"
"No. I presume its some cheap thing to collect urine samples."
"You know what sex is. Right?"
"Yes and all the diseases afflicted by it."
"What do you use when you want sex but not children."
"Sex is only for children isn't it?"
"No... Those are condoms... They go over a males genitals... So we can have sex without making children... And those medicine pills your holding are called the pill."
"Oh... Hormone tablets. Stops woman pregnant... Humans are so weird."
"Wait are you?"

I Went 50 shades of red as i threw the box at his head knocking him over.

"Wait... Whos been having those vitamin tablets?"
"A rookie why."
"Has he been ill of late?"
"Ye. Hasn't left bed in a week or so. Wont eat and barely drinks."
"Do him a favour. Put him out of his misery. All your medication here is gone wrong. Expired several years ago. Medicines are made with toxic plants here eventually they have to release their chemicals."
"Whats happening to the boy then?"
"His insides are melting. At this point his stomach has probably completely dissolved from the poison."

They looked at each other worryingly.

"So what shall we do with it."
"Help me throw it all overboard. Now!"

The three of us took all the medication and dumped it into the sea.

"Bring the boy up."

They had carried him up and i thoroughly examined him. From blood pressure to his pulse, his breathing every aspect.

"Do you want me to put you out now? You will continue dying. I'm sorry their is no cure."
"P... Pl... Ea.. Se... Kil-"
"I understand. This wont hurt."

I hugged the boy gently as if it was my child dying and stabbed the head hitting the brain causing instant death.
"Rest on peace young lad. I'm sorry i couldn't save you."

I got up and closed his eye lids as i went to the infirmary and found a pair of tweezers and bandages.

I pulled out the two bullets i had been shot with today. One by buggy the other by the rookie calling me monster.
I had to be more careful with buggys as his bullet shattered and i need all the pieces. I was biting on a pole as there was no anaesthetics or pain relief.

I saw the door open to Rayleigh.
"Oh god! Are you alright?"

I ignored him and continued with the surgery as i grabbed the last bit and stitched the bullet holes closed and bandaged them dropping the pipe.

"Whats wrong with you?!"
"Your a women to be afraid of. You preformed surgery on yourself."
"So."
"With no medication."
"I had a biting pole."

I felt woozy for a second as i stood up and not because of the surgery.

"Shit."

That's the last thing i thought as i blacked out.
