Skylars pov
After Emily Told me about her dream i comforted her and managed to get her to fall back asleep, unlike me.
I still couldn't believe it!
After about 9 years of my mate being abused by her parents, she was finally free of them only to end up being in even more greater danger, vampires! Ugh those rotten animals.
Before, werewolves and vampires used to be great allies, they helped us with the war between the fairies ( don't let the name fool you, dangerous creatures ) and managed
to win. But that all changed in the year 1649 when the vampires king ended up killing the Alpha's mate. The alpha went beyond crazy with revenge, I mean who could blame him, he lost the person he loved the most in the world.
Anyways the werewolves and vampires ended up having a full-fledged war, which ended up with thousands of dead men, women, children, and babies. Werewolves still hunt for vampires and vampires still hunt for werewolves. Except rouges don't hate vampires but werewolves who have a pack do, it's just a natural thing.
Vampires are ruthless, they get what they want and if you stand in their way they will rip you to shreds. I'm not talking about a vampire you see in cartoons, I'm talking about a real vampires. They can enter people's dreams and hypnotize anyone except the other supernatural beings. They are creatures who feed on anyone they want, kill anyone they want, and they don't sparkle in the sun.
Now you see what kind of creatures they are?
It just doesn't make sense that a Vampire would go into Emily's dream!
She is mine!
I know I sound a little possessive but she is my mate and I'm not gonna let a foul creature take her away from me, especially since Emily's father is paying them to get her away from me.
I looked at my angel beside me, taking slow, steady, and calm breaths threw her slightly parted mouth which made her even more adorable then she already is.
I stayed awake all night, in case my little Mate had another nightmare, I didn't want anything else to happen to her. Ever.
Emily's pov
I woke up to the sun blinding my eyes, I was about to stand when I saw my hand was clasped tightly to skylars.
"Skylar let go" I whined while trying to get my hand out of his, which was like impossible.
He shook his head so I turned to look at him. I gasped in surprise. His eyes where bloodshot.
"Skylar did you get any sleep last night?" I asked him kinda surprised.
Skylar shook his head " I'm not tired" he yawned
I raised an eyebrow "yes you are"
"No I'm not" he argued
"Yes you are" I argued back
We kept on going like that until the doctor entered the room.
"Alp- I mean Mr. Wilson considering the progress Emily has been making with her strength, it's look like she'll be good enough to leave later today" she said smiling
"Thank you Ms. Cohen" Skylar thanked before she left.
"Now since your gonna be getting out of this uncomfortable hospital bed I can show you around." He didn't really ask but kinda told which I was thought was funny and cute.
"Yes that would be great thanks Skylar" I thanked him
Skylars eyes lit up and kissed my cheek, sparks flew when his lips made contact with my skin. I probably look like a human sized cherry.
Skylars pov
I was so happy when she agreed for me to show her around. I kinda want her to let loose for a little and forgot about everything that is happening and just live a normal teenage life. I'll be protecting her 24/7 though because nothing can happen to her, cause it would be my fault for not helping her. I don't care how powerful the vampires are nobody is touching my mate!
