"Come on, run! Faster! Run, Chloé!" The little girl squealed.
"I'm trying!" Chloé replied. They both ran towards a large oak tree.
"Shh! He might hear us!" The other squealed. Chloé clamped her mouth shut.
When the girls finally reached the tree they both shouted, "BASE!" Suddenly a little boy appeared from around another tree.
"Guys! You've gotta come see this!" The little boy exclaimed. The two girls looked at the boy like he was the next big thing.
"What is it, Caden?" Miranda, the other little girl asked excitedly. A few minutes later, all three kids were staring at a huge, old mansion. They walked up the steps on to the large porch.
"This place is huge! I wonder who lives here!!" Caden exclaimed excitedly.
"I don't know, but who wants to explore?!" Chloé questioned. Each of their hands shot up in excitement.
