- Chapter 3: Fallen-

Hikari's POV

-"You can go home after you pick up all the balls in the field"- EraserHead said and threw two blue bags at us - "I have some things to do in the teachers office, try not to kill each other"

Sensei walked away and left us alone. We both stared at each other in silence, not moving a single muscle. It was as if we were measuring one another, like wild animals. I inhale, then exhale. I need some nicotine in my system NOW, this day has been exciting enough for me.

-"Okey, let's get this over with."- I said picking up a bag on the floor

-"Tch. Whatever"- Bakugo said grabbing the other bag and walking away.

I was on one side of the field and he was on the other. I occasionally glanced at him to see if he was really working or just being useless, and he did the same. We just didn't trust each other, and why would we? We have just met that day and we were already fighting. The hours passed and we didn't said a word to each other. The sun was setting in the distance painting the sky with warm tones.

-"The last ball is on top of that tree. I'll get it"- I said as I started climbing a tall tree - "Get my bag and put all of the balls together"

-"Don't tell me what to do Frosty!"- The blond idiot shouted at the bottom of the tree. That's the first time he called me that, was it because of my cold flames or my personality ?

-"Oh, he speaks!"- I said with a sarcastic tone.

-"OF COURSE I FUCKING DO!- Bakugo shouted. I didn't know if he did it for me to hear him or just because I was mocking him.

-"Really? I didn't have a clue! I thought you were the quiet type"- He looked at me frowning -"Angry, much?"- I stop climbing to looked down at him smirking. I could't help myself, I had to make fun of his mood. There was something about the face he made when he was angry that filled me inside. I just liked messing with people to get a reaction. And he's was the best one yet.

-"Fake, much?"- He replied calmly with a winning grin.

My face changed and it showed. I wasn't smiling anymore, I was shocked. How did he knew?! I was really good at hiding my emotions, he couldn't have noticed it from just one day of knowing me!

- "H- H- How FUCKING dare you!?"- I have him a death stare.

-"Oh, did I hurt your feelings HAG?"- He said smirking at me. He then turned around and started walking away.

My thoughts were interrupted when the branch under my feet snapped. I was falling...

Bakugo's POV

I was walking away from the tree the white witch was climbing when I heard a branch snap. Before I could think, my body moved instinctively towards her. I had to catcher this freak, but why? I can't stand her. From the moment she stepped foot into the class she was fake laughing and answering questions with vague answers. And that forced smile!! I saw a hint of sadness in her stupid turquoise eyes when she talked. They seemed...empty. But that's none of my business, what bothered me the most was the fact that she acted all tough as she was a happy little girl. Did she really thought I was dumb enough to buy it?! It really get on my nerves when people try to fool me, who the fuck did she think she is?! The only true feeling I was able to see from her was the determination to win. I can respect that but what's up with that fake personality she was showing everyone?! After confronting her, she sweared at me and confirmed everything I was assuming... So then again, WHY THE FUCK WAS I RUNNING TO SAVE HER STUPID ASS?!

I used the explosions from my hands to propelled myself to catch her just before she hit the floor.

-"What the fuck Frosty!?"- I shouted just realizing how close our faces were. I was in the ground with that bitch on top of me.

"Wait... is this bitch crying?" - I thought when I saw her turquoise eyes full of tears- "What's the expression in her face? Sadness? Surprise? Scare? What is it? She has been pretending all day but this now is raw emotion. I have never seen someone so broken, what's up with this freak?... Fuck me, why do I care?!"
