Every Christmas Eve, the Nordics team up with one another to compete and see who would bedizen their shared home with holiday decor and trinkets the best.
The teams most of the time consisted of Denmark and Norway, and Sweden and Iceland. Norway really wanted to team up with Iceland who profusely refused, while Sweden and Denmark didn't want to pair up due to their little rivalry. Though, at some point, Norway managed to convince Iceland to join his team by bribing him with mackarel, so Denmark and Sweden had no other choice but to team up with each other after failing to convince Finland to join them.
Finland chose to serve as the judge, since, he wanted to stay out of it and bake various sweets for the whole group to eat on Christmas instead.
