Seth's POV

We sat in Jayce's living room, watching him pour us cups of tea. He had a silk red robe on, his hair was slicked back due to washing it. He had a faint smile on his lips, glancing up at Jaxon and I briefly.

''I wanted to apologize for my lack of presence lately boys, I haven't felt well...'' He finally said, handing a teacup to both Jaxon and I.

''It's okay, Jayce. You seemed shaken up when you gave me my memories back.'' I replied. He nodded softly, glancing up at Jaxon.

''So you trained with Seth today?'' He asked, bringing the teacup up to his lips. Jaxon slowly nodded, glancing over in my direction.

''Yes, we made some progress.'' He stated.

''What happened exactly?'' Jayce asked, placing his teacup onto the coffee table. His facial expression looked twisted in concern, maybe scared.

''In his memories, his mother mentioned him being able to kill things with simply a touch. Obviously, Seth couldn't control what he was doing-''

''What happened?'' Jayce repeated himself. Jaxon stood up, walking over to him and sitting down onto the couch. He placed a hand on his back, patting it gently.

''Look at him, Jayce. He's okay, there's no need to get worried.'' Jaxon said softly. Jayce looked over to me, and I flashed him a smile.

''After seeing what he's gone through, I can't help but be worried...'' He murmured.

''I could handle myself, Jayce. I'm not a child.'' I assured him, and both Jaxon and Jayce started laughing. I rolled my eyes, realizing once again that they were both warlocks... and were probably hundreds of years old.

''Can we get on with it?'' I asked them, breaking them out of their laughter.

''Of course, my prince,'' Jaxon said casually, sitting down next to me.

''As we have spoken of, Seth has the ability to kill things within a touch. It seems he lost control of it, and he didn't particularly have to touch anything. He stood right in his place, and the nature around us began to die.'' Jaxon explained, and I watched as Jayce's face turned into a look of amazement.

''Didn't you have a barrier up?'' Jayce asked.

''Yes, it held him just fine until his abilities began to show...''

Jayce slowly nodded, his eyes slowly inspecting me. His eyes shined a powerful bright blue, they seemed almost like glass.

''What triggered his powers, Jaxon?'' He asked suddenly, breaking his gaze from me. Jaxon's eyes grew wide, and I watched as he bit his lip nervously.

''I noticed how his powers came to be the first time. His mother was arguing with him, telling him nasty things... and in his memories too, it seemed his mother triggered him... so I began to tell him about his mother.'' Jaxon said. I wasn't angry with him, everything he said was true. It was the only thing he could do...

''That's one way you could do it... so you're telling me you destroyed my garden?'' He asked both of us. I felt the smile grow on my lips as I shook my head.
