Tawakkul is the whole reliance on Allah, perfect trust in Allah Subhanahu wa ta'ala and Him alone. Allah is Al Wakeel, the disposer of affairs. Success is only achieved when the trust is in Allah and the believer is steadfast and obeys His commands.

The Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) said: “Whoever says this 7 times in the morning after Fajr and 7 times after Asr, Allah will take care of whatever worries him/her of the matter of this world and the hereafter.
Meaning: Allah is Sufficient for me, none has the right to be worshipped except Him, upon Him I rely and He is Lord of the exalted throne.”
Ibn As-Sunni (no. 71), Abu Dawud 4/321. Both reports are attributed directly to the Prophet (Peace be upon him). The chain of transmission is sound (Sahih). Ibn As-Sunni.
