Harshwardhan was almost petrified with Aditya's use of language towards him that in a reflex action his hand was raised up, about to hit his only son. He knows he hasn't been faithful to his wife neither his son but it hurt him to see Aditya accusing him till date. Little did he know that he deserved worse treatment than what he was receiving!

Aditya moved forward with his face reddened with the sudden anger he felt for his father who cheated on his mother and him years ago and looked at Harshwardhan's raised hand at him. Look who's talking! How dare he ask me to behave the way he wants me to behave when he himself doesn't know how a family should actually behave? Aditya thought in his mind what he couldn't put in to words since his mother would feel bad.

Anjana immediately came in between her husband and son shaking her head in refusal, when Harshwardhan raised his hand at Aditya. He slowly put his hand down. Although Aditya didn't speak with Anjana much nor treated her as his mother, there was an unexplainable bond between the two. Perhaps because Anjana never threw a façade like her husband and she was always there for Aditya in his good and worse times.

At the same time that Harshwardhan shouted at Aditya, the servants who were busy working around the living room rushed to see the drama unfold which was nothing new to them. They were used to seeing the Main man of the house quarreling with his wife and son. The almost slap didn't stop Aditya from talking further against his dad instead pressurized him to blame Harshwardhan more and ignore that his mother was present.

Anjana was staring at Aditya unable to comprehend the situation. Keeping a guest at Hooda house indeed has its adverse effects but talking to his father in a high pitch didn't suit Aditya according to her. But Anjana didn't open her mouth to say a word to Aditya nor her husband, clearly proving that she still hasn't learnt her lessons after so many years of staying silent when wrong deeds kept happening in front of her eyes.

Harshwardhan knew in his mind what Aditya pointed out was absolutely correct but he had other options.

"Toh kya hua? Jaise ki hum sab society ke liye family ki tarah dikthe hai waise ghar me bhi pretend karenge. It's not a big deal. Woh bachchi saalo tak rehene nahi aarahi hai Aditya, kyun ki she has her own life to worry about and her accommodations jinka khayal Waseem rakhenge. Aditya crossed his hands across his chest at Harshwardhan's reply and gave a sarcastic look at him.
