As Aditya got up in a rush to the sound of the alarm he sets in his phone at 6.30am, his head felt strangely heavy and body tiresome. He reached towards his iPhone kept on the nightstand and opened the screen and the immediate next second, Aditya closed the alarm and placed it back. He closed his eyes as soon as pain shot through his head out of nowhere.

"Ah... mere sar mein itna dard kyun hai!"

Aditya mumbled as he adjusted himself on the bed crossing his legs. He kept massaging his head thoroughly for a few seconds and at a slow pace, opened his eye lids adjusting to the light coming from outside. He's in his room, sleeping comfortably draped with a blanket though he is still wearing the shirt and trouser from last night but unfortunately he can't remember what happened to him after returning home from the party except that he had a glass of water before walking towards his room.

Aditya knew that he doesn't drink more than perhaps one glass at parties which he has to attend with his parents as much as gossip mongers would expect him to being the son of a famous criminal lawyer and how elite families are usually categorized as but then again, why is he feeling sick as if he had gotten drunk?

That's when Aditya's eyes moved to capture the sight of.. wait a second!

Zoya Siddiqui

What on earth is she doing in my room? That too on the floor sleeping? Is she okay? She has a room of her own, then why is she here? What's wrong with Zoya?

Aditya tried to be as quite as he can as he moved forward in his bed and took a peek at Zoya, whose hand was placed at an angle while her head rested on top. Her hair has loosened from the bun she had tied and was now halfway spread around her shoulders and it covered her face from Aditya's view.

Aditya instantly felt awkward having Zoya in his room, literally sleeping right next to him since god knows when. He couldn't help but notice how peaceful and calm she looked as he observed her.

Long forgotten was his headache as Aditya carefully forwarded his hand and removed few hair strands covering Zoya's face and placed them behind her ear. She looked flawless and Aditya felt a weird twist in his stomach as he took in her appearance.

Zoya wasn't pretty in the classical way. No flowing golden curls or fair skin and how could Aditya forget that she was shorter than average height? But looking ordinarily best she had an unusual aura around her which made Mr. Hooda treat her as if she's a daughter of the family, his maa to trust her with the secrets they have kept hidden from the outside world for a long time.

Some special vibe radiated from Zoya which made it impossible for Aditya to turn around without taking a glance at her whenever she walked next to him.

As Aditya moved his hand away and placed them on either sides of his body, he realized how much he had been noticing this mysterious girl for the past few days and how without his knowledge she has become close to his ma. If she was fake since she stepped inside the Hooda residence he would've felt it soon but with Zoya, he had always been rude when she hadn't even committed a mistake.

In fact he has been the one who started arguing with her for no specific reason. Just because Zoya neglected listening to him the first time they met each other since then he had been teasing her. Was it really what he should've done to Zoya? Humiliating her and scaring the hell out of her like the time he dragged her towards her room and threatened her?

Zoya definitely isn't a timid butterfly but a fierce lioness who knows how to stick with the rules. Yes, she looks frightened at first but the next moment she proves how strong and confident she is and Aditya had to agree that she had impressed him within a short period of time.
