CHAPTER 12

The alpha's standing outside the omega's room, he heard a faint noise inside, murmuring, whispering, and sobbing. Especially Yeonie's small voice that melted his heart. "Is Mommy gonna leave us again, Papa?" It likes punching his cartilage, it hurts.

But who is he fooling? Jeon Jeongguk never felt any pity nor felt hurt inside him. Jeon Jeongguk never loves anyone except his mother. "I don't want him to leave, P-please Papa do some- something." He heard again a crack voice with broken sobs inside the room.

"I can't decide on that Yeonie, maybe, maybe... Your mama finds someone to love because we crosses different paths before, we met a different type of person. We will eventually fall out of love." Taehyung's comforting voice speaks, crushing Jeongguk's feelings. "We don't own your mother Yeonie. She doesn't love us."

"But P-papa, I love Mommy."

"Jia don't love us."

Maybe, it's not the time for them to talk. Maybe they both need some alone time.

Before they both hurt each other.

Taehyung and Yeonie are watching television in the living room, Yeonie nipping his neck quietly, he does that when he's sad, so Taehyung just let the pup do whatever he pleased.

Riverdale is currently showing, the omega doesn't have any idea what the movies about but just continue to watch it because they are bored.

Suddenly, they smell something, citrus, and the lemon scent coming from the outside. Then, after a few minutes, they saw the woman, Jeongguk says it's his girlfriend while ago.

Taehyung lost his voice, he believes that this is the moment this girl will throw them outside the house, especially if she's really Jeongguk's girlfriend most importantly, she is an alpha wolf.

"Hi." The woman said, voice like a soft harmony to his ears. Yeonie on his arms, whimpered not happy with the person in front of them. "D-don't be scared. I will not hurt both of you. I- I just want to ask if you still consider the one I told you before? The exhibit?"

But then Taehyung remembers, this is the woman who offered him a big sum of money, way back in Itaewon, for her exhibit. So all of this is for this girl. Because Jeongguk loves her.

"I'm sorry, Vante."

The omega eyes widened, yes Vante. That is his name now. How come Rosie, knows him.

"Your son is cute." The alpha spoke again, shyly smiling. "Sorry, I'm... I'm Rosie. You call me that."

"Um, sorry I don't know what to say." He truthfully said, looking at Yeonie's chubby cheeks. "Thanks for the offer? Does..does it have to be a concern with the Jeongguk proposal? The exhibit thing?"

"What do you mean?"

"Did you say something about the exhibit? Did you ask him to..convince me?" Rose shakes her head smiling.

"No." Rosie says smiling, telling him the truth.

"Really?" Taehyung asks again.

"Yes, we certainly didn't talk about it, we're falling apart, Vante. So, I don't think he'll just do me something for a favor. Knowing how asshole he is." The alpha woman laughed, eyes crinkles like a crescent moon.

Taehyung thinks it's.. cute.

"He is actually an asshole." And then Rosie laughs louder.

Yeonie bite Taehyung's neck scarcely, maybe he feels that his Father is turning into a good man for the alpha woman. The pup doesn't like her. "No, Papa. Don't talk to her." He murmurs but Rosie can still hear it.

"I'm...- sorry Rosie? Yeah? Yeonie doesn't mean it. He just really likes Jeongguk."

"Really? Wow." The woman is confused. "Jeongguk let you in here. That's unusual, Jeongguk never let any omega near him, and mostly he makes the omega's life a living hell. Except if.."

"If what?" Taehyung is fucking curious now.

"If he is planning something?"

"To be honest, I'm not surprised, Jeongguk is really good at lying, twisting people's minds and manipulated them," Rosie confessed, she looks away seeing disappointment from Taehyung's eyes but, she only announcing truth and nothing but the truth.

"Why are you saying this, I mean, you should say something more kind. I don't know? More proper because you guys are in a relationship and I'm just meddling around between the two of you." Yeonie hides his small chubby face onto his Father's nape, feeling the vibes suddenly down.

"At first I was baffling with the thoughts of, what on earth Jeongguk has been doing all his weeks. My mind filled with questions and so on but seeing you all hanging out together isn't really bothering me now." Taehyung nods his head from the agreement. "More like, I am so confused why he's still with you, please don't get offended but that's the truth."

"I know." The place turned into silence. "But maybe because he needs me in his works-"

"I was the one who needed you, Vante, your art really is revolting, that I could feel the feeling inside of it. My stomach is like churning in a most satisfying way if you know what I am trying to point out." She smiles, cheeks squeezing like a little chipmunk.

"That's very flattering., but you? You are the one who needs me?"

"Yes, I was the one who begs Jeongguk about you. Because I need you to be in my Art Gallery."

"I thought that was Jeongguk's idea." Rosie shakes her head. "Never mind, I will keep your words and figure what's really that Alpha's motive." He added.

"Alright, just message whenever you want to talk. I think I'm planning on breaking up on Jeongguk too since he doesn't really care about me."

Taehyung's heart jumped inside. That's rude. He said inside.

"Don't say that. You are a lovely girl." The Female Alpha chuckles shaking her head in a cute manner.

"Vante, I know he doesn't love me. I don't want to be a fool all over and over." Taehyung just hummed, nothing word came up. "Just, I think I found the right guy for me but, I don't think he likes me."

"Anyone would be lucky to be with you."

"You think so?" The two of them stare at each other. Taehyung easily looks away, getting uncomfortable. "I think, I got the answer. Thank you for your time, Vante. It is really nice talking to you, you are a very kind and sweet loving man."

"Thanks for dropping by, uhh see you soon?" The Alpha nodded smiling, she then pinches Yeonie's cheeks lightly.

"You know." Rosie halfway talks. "I don't know but i'm really comfortable with you. I feel like I've met you before." She added.

"Actually, me too." Taehyung chews his lower lips, awkwardly.

"I believed, I need to go now. Bye killer eyebrows! So cute!" Rosie then waved her hands before leaving the both of them.
