Chapter 10

I'm still feeling TERRIBLE about not updating in a long while and therefore, ladies and gentle germs, i present.... ANOTHER UPDATE!

Chapter 10:

Juliette POV:

Ok, breathe, you can do this… yeah! Go me, I can do this, I really want to… “ok, lets do this” I look at Danté who looks at me with a worried expression “you sure babe? We could always come again” I open the door and climb out “no, I want to do this, today, so lets get your sexy ass out of this car and into the pallor” I walk with Danté following closely behind me.

I open the door and hear the ding of the bell and the lady behind the desk looks up and smiles “Dee!” she hugs Danté “hows it been man?”

“Things are going pretty well” he wraps his arm around my waist bringing me flush to his side “Can you sort my girl out? I made an appointment with Johnny” she goes to the back of the reception desk and checks in a book “yes, Juliette?” I nod and she walks infront of Danté and I leading us to a room at the back of the shop.

When we enter I spot a guy with tattoos all over his arms and an eye ring “Danté!” he stands up and hugs Danté “long time man, you coming for another one?” he shakes his head and looks at me while taking a hold of my hand “actually… she is” Johnny extends his hand and I shake it “Juliette” I smile “Johnny” he indicates that I sit on the chair “so what can I do for you today?” I get so excited that I don’t even notice Danté had left and by the time he came back, I was done.

I looked at the ink on my left arm and smiled. I hug Johnny “thank you!” he smiles “no problem, see you next time” he pats Danté on the back and we walk out of the shop. “you hungry?” Danté asks and as if on queue, my stomach growls. He laughs, grabs my hand and we go to a café just around the corner from the pallor. When we find a booth and order lunch Danté looks at my tattoo which is slightly red around the edges and smirks at me “this is quite sexy” he kisses the spot closest to my tattoo and I blush.

He then reaches across the table and kisses me lightly and just when he backs away the waitress brings our food “here we go, two cokes, one monster burger and one nachos” she smiles at us “enjoy and call me if you need anything” and with that she leaves. I look at Dantés plate in shock “where do you put it all?” he just laughs and steals a chip from my nachos “hey!” I slap his hand away, he laughs and we continue making small talk, talking about everything and enjoying our meals with kisses here and there.

With the bill payed, we head back to his car and his phone in his car rings, he answers “Danté here”  “hey Dee, its Leslie” I squeal and Danté just chuckles “Leslie! When last have I seen you girl?” she sighs “in forever, but its cause Dantés got you busy” I laugh as I know shes just messing with him “hey, that’s not fair! She’s my girlfriend, I think I get dibbs, and besides who can resist this?” I mentally smile as I realize that he just called me his girlfriend!

 I playfully slap Dantés arm “his just being a kidder Les, what you doing later?” “unfortunately, we have a rehearsal till late tonight, have a big gig tomorrow” danté listens more intently now “gig?” she laughs “yes, tomorrow evening, at 7. That’s the reason I called actually, just meet us at the rehearsal room in an hour, see you then. Bye Jules, I’ll see you later, love you chica!” “Bye Leslie” “bye girl, see you. Love you!” Danté and I say at the same time. I switch off the phone just as we pull into the diners parking, Danté walks with me inside while holding my hand, when we enter Caron comes to greet us hugging us both “how you two kids doing today?” I smile at her and walk to the back to put my bags down and grab my apron while Danté sits on one of the stools and talks to Caron.

When I return I hear laughing and see Danté with a cup of coffee, I then walk behind him and wrap my arms around him “shouldn’t you be at rehearsal?” his eyes widen as he realizes he has to be somewhere else. He gulps down the coffee, thanking Caron before hugging her over the counter and then stands up and turns towards me and kisses me passionately but before we get carried away we hear a cough and look towards Caron who is standing with her arms folded over her chest and a raised eyebrow. I laugh into Dantés chest and he kisses the top of my head “I’ll see you later, babe” he kisses me gently and   heads out the door. I turn around to see Caron smiling at me.

I go behind the counter and envelope her into a tight hug “its good to see you happy, Juliette. Your mother would have been happy for you, the both of you. She would have loved him as her own.” I noticed only when she wipes my cheeks that I have been crying. “I love you so much aunt Caron” I kiss her check and she kisses my forehead before she lifts my left arm up and looks at the tattoo “now, what in the heavens name is this?” I just laugh at her and say “you could also get one?” as the oven bell goes off she walks away shaking her head at my tattoo and suggestion and I chuckle as I hear her mumble something about youngsters and me being crazy. I grab my pencil, note pad and head to the door where customers have just entered. I smile and head over to their table “welcome to Songbird diner, how may I help you?”.

I'm getting a tattoo soon, thats how i got inspired by this idea! im soooo EXCITED but NERVOUS! anyway, there will be another update soon, soon... maybe tomrw? we shall see....
