zach is probably (and hopefully) not anything like the guy he is in this book. but because this book is titled 'he's hell', he's literally going to be hell. get ready for that

this story takes place in high school so therefore all the wdw boys are 18 except for zach who is 17

prologue!

Karissa's POV

Middle school is where it all began, and I mean everything. It was where parties, drugs, bad boys, relationships, and hell began. It was where people changed, and that change usually wasn't for the better.

I changed both physically and mentally. I trusted less because of middle school, and the people who had taken my trust and betrayed me with it. I physically changed because of puberty, everyone did. Especially the guys.

The guys went through this life changing experience, like they suddenly noticed the thing between their legs. Therefore, they all started acting like dicks to show everyone that they finally found theirs. Zach Herron was the guy who changed the most.

In elementary, Zach had been the rosy cheeked smart kid in the back of the classroom. He always raised his hand, always was polite. Basically, he was the golden child. It shook everyone to the core when Zach Herron changed, and not for the good. 

He disrespected everyone, he started smoking, he started hanging out with these five losers who weren't any better. The worst part was that this was all when he was only fourteen, we were all only fourteen. Even though Zach had almost changed completely, some things didn't change. For example, he was still charming as ever. His charm was what usually kept him out of trouble.

But not this time. And this time I was being taken down with him.

"You two have really let me down this time. Especially you, Karissa," our principal, Mr. Thomas, scolded Zach and I who were now sitting in this office. I wanted to sink right into the floor, to disappear completely. Zach held his ground like he wasn't afraid. But I guess he wasn't, this couldn't be his first time in a principal's office.

I guess I should start from where this all started. No, not in middle school. This story started in high school, the first day of third quarter in our senior year. It's when I first started actually talking to Zach.

They all warned me about him. I just didn't listen.
