Let me go | Day6 Park Sungjin

I sang. I was so drawn to the music that I didn't focus on anything else than the song. I felt the same emotions from over a year ago before I met y/n. Back when Jisoo cheated on me... She left me defeated and broken but y/n picked up the pieces. The person I am with till this very day. The person that's here with us in the recording studio. YoungK was now singing the chorus and I felt tempted to singalong but of course, I couldn't. After the song ended we went out of the studio and I saw y/n standing in front of me with a bright smile. 'I am so proud of you Sungjin.' she walked over to me and hugged me. After a short moment, she let go of me and I pecked her forehead. I heard someone fake couch behind me and I turned around to see Jae. 'y/n, aren't you going to compliment us too?' he said as he held his arms open for a hug. y/n playfully rolled her eyes and went over to hug him. I'm really glad y/n became closer with the other boys. It's important to me that they like her. 

'I have to go to the toilet.' y/n said after a while and I nodded.

I left the recording studio to look for the toilet when I didn't pay attention I bumped against someone's shoulder. I looked up and saw a boy with half silver like hair. 'I'm sorry' he said in English with a full Aussi accent. 'Don't worry.' I replied back also in English. 'You can speak English?' I hummed in reply. 'Oh sorry, I must be rude not introducing myself I am Bang Chan, but you can call me Chan.' I smiled. 'Don't worry Chan, I am y/n. It's nice to meet you!'  I smiled at him. 'So y/n what are you doin' here actually?' He asked me 'Well, I came here with, you know the soon to debut band day6? Well, I came with them to listen to them recording their debut song.' Chan looked at me interested 'You know day6 personally?' I hummed in reply. 'Well, they're my friends.' I wasn't sure if I could say Sungjin is my boyfriend since he isn't actually allowed to date. 'That's cool! They seem nice.' what I appreciate about Chan is that he honestly sounds interested in what I have to say. 'What are you doing here?' I asked him 'Well I'm actually a trainee here.' he smiled unsurely. 'Are you going to debut soon too?' I asked him and he looked disappointed. 'No, I still have to train a lot. Even though I've been here for a while.' He sighed. 'Don't worry Chan. You'll get to debut soon! I am sure of that!' I tried to make him smile 'But, ehh Chan do you know where the toilet is?' I asked him and he had to laugh showing his dimples. 'In that hall.' He pointed to where I had to go.  'Then walk to the end.' I thanked him and then continued my search.

When I entered the studio Sungjin looked at me with a frown 'Why were you gone for so long?' he asked me seriously. I noticed the other boys weren't here anymore. 'Where are the other boys?' I asked him. 'Getting food. I wanted to wait for you. But seriously where were you?' he asked me once again. 'I met someone in the hall.' I said shrugging my shoulders. 'Who?' he looked really serious and sounded kind off annoyed 'His name is Chan.' I said shrugging my shoulders. 'okay, we'll talk about this later. Let's find the other's first.' he said and I sighed. Then we left the studio.

We entered the canteen and sat down with day6. I looked around and noticed Chan sitting at a table with a squirrel looking boy and someone I recognized from somewhere but I don't really remember very well... I was looking at Chan and then turned to Sungjin who gave me a frown.  'Do you need to record more?' I asked them 'No, actually today was the last day. We only need to shoot the music video and we're ready.' Jae said excitedly. I love that Jae is getting more and more excited every day, the other boys too but they were more nervous. Jae for some reason didn't seem to have that which actually makes me glad. 'I hope all of you aren't nervous. I know you will do well!' I smiled at each one of them and then stayed at Youngk, who seemed the most nervous out of all. 'Youngk, you will do amazing. Don't be too nervous okay?' he smiled at me 'You're saying it like this is the last time you'll see us y/n.' His smile was replaced with a frown . 'oh, I didn't mean it like that, whoops.' we laughed and had a good time.

It was now 5pm and Sungjin and I arrived home. The door just closed and I felt the atmosphere change in to an uneasy one. 'y/n, I didn't like it that you talked to a random stranger in JYP. You know that when someone figures out...' I looked at him confused 'Sungjin, I won't tell a random stranger we're dating.' I hung my jacket on the coat rack and walked into the living room without hearing his reply. 'So? That doesn't mean he couldn't ask you about it.' he crossed his arms. 'Sungjin, that's stupid. Why would he randomly do that? Second I still wouldn't say that.' I sat on the couch turning the tv on. 'Just don't talk to random strangers in JYP ok?' Sungjin asked and I felt myself getting annoyed, why is he even holding onto it like this? 'Sungjin, you don't decide who I talk to and who I don't talk too.' Sungjin leaned against the wall. 'No, I don't. But-' he couldn't finish his sentence 'But what? You don't want me to make friends?' he looked at me weirdly 'What are you talking about? I never said that.' I closed my eyes for a short second and took a deep breath. 'That's how I feel like your bringing it. I don't see the problem why I can't talk to Chan.' Sungjin groaned 'y/n stop. Why can't you just listen to me?' I felt like ripping my hair out. 'Sungjin, I am not going to listen to you if you're not giving me a good reason. The fact that you're constantly repeating yourself tell's me enough that you barely have a good reason for this or you don't want to admit it.' Sungjin stayed quiet for a while. 'Why can't you just let me talk to who I want? I just asked him where the toilet was had some basic conversation and introduced myself. I barely have friends, only Yeji, Woosung and Dojoon. I feel lonely, after college you're nine out of ten times working and I just study because I have nothing to do. You're always working!!' a tear streamed down my face.

I really do feel lonely, it hurts...
