Chapter two

"You have 10 months left."

"Till?"

"We both know the answer to that."

"Knowing it and facing it are two different things."

"What if you do both?"

"Stop being ridiculous."

"I'm the ridiculous one?"

"..."

The silence of the studio was now filled with the sounds of Chanyeol's keyboard playing. But, quickly that playing was stopped. Frustration flooded the male's body, making him not think straight. All that came to mind was Baekhyun's words.

His chair spun around to the calendar hung up behind. June 5th was pinned indicating the day

"Might as well give up.." The tall boy muttered.

"Give up on what?" Ask a tiny boy from the doorway of the studio. Chanyeol turned and saw his best friend standing there, distressed. Kyungsoo's brows were furrowed and the heart shaped lips were tucked away into a frown. Seeing him look this way, the larger boy freaked.

"N-Nothing! Just.. I can't think of good lyrics for a song I'm composing." The smaller stared for a minute before laughing at his friend.

"You're so dramatic. Giving up just because you have writer's block?" Kyungsoo walked over to the black couch and sat down while Chanyeol blushed of embarrassment.

"Well, what do you have so far?" Soo questioned.

"No, no. You don't have to do that.."

"Chanyeol, just play it."

"Oh.. look at the time I must be going for a shoot-"

Chanyeol got up but was now being held back from leaving by the tiny male. He glanced back with an awkward smile while Kyungsoo's face was calm and collected, but annoyed.

"Yeolie-yahhh~ I need your help!" Called Minseok from the living room. The smaller sighed from the call and let the taller go. Chanyeol quickly ran away to greet Minseok, leaving Kyungsoo alone.

"What's his problem.."

"Kyungsoo-yah? Why are you standing in Chanyeol-yah's studio..?" The "penguin" looked up to see a much taller man standing in the door way.

"Oh, Jongin. I was just leaving." Kyungsoo whispered. As he went to exit Jongin grabbed onto his boyfriend's waist and pulled him over.

"What are you doing?!" Kyungsoo glanced up at the other male with a death glare. But, a simple smile was returned.

"We've been dating for half a month already and haven't even hung out. I have free time right now so let's go watch a movie.., alright?" Jongin replied. Kyungsoo glanced down at his feet then sighed a quiet 'fine'.

The older member escaped the grip of his younger boyfriend and they both walked out of the studio and into the apartment living room. There sat Minseok and Chanyeol staring intensely at an iPad on the couch. Kyungsoo simply rolled his eyes at the scene as they began to scream when losing once more.

"Kyungsoo and I are heading to my apartment, we'll be back tonight." Jongin said with a smile. Hearing his friend's name, Chanyeol shot his head up. His eyes glanced around at the two who were just awkwardly staring back.

"Oh..what are you going to do?" Yeol asked.

"Were doing a movie da-

Kyungsoo kicked the side of Jongin's leg making the taller turn around. The two had a conversation by just sending glances that the other members couldn't understand. After a minute Jongin turned back around and continued.

..were going to work on a dance project." He finished. Chanyeol cocked his head in confusing at the sentence.

"Dance? Why at your apartment and not the studio..?" Chanyeol asked once more. And then, once again Jongin turned to Kyungsoo and another eye-conversation occurred. In honesty, if it was any other member Chanyeol wouldn't question but his heart skipped beats knowing Jongin and Kyungsoo were going to an apartment alone.

"They are actually..doing a hose down of all the studio rooms.." Chanyeol decided to drop the matter with a sigh and said his goodbyes to the males. Once the two left, Minseok groaned in frustration.

"What..?" Yeol asked with a frown.

"You're so jealous..when are you going to confess already?" The younger male blushed at the question and threw a pillow at his older member.

"Only small hugs..you know I don't like being touched." Kyungsoo mumbled as they got through the door. Jongin hummed in response. The two males automatic sigh from the August heat caused a small chuckle between them before they sat down and turned on the TV.

"Horror~?" Jongin chuckled while looking through the list. Kyungsoo only rolled his eyes in response but a tiny smile cracked through as his boyfriend continued joking. Eventually, they decided on a movie and it began to play.

Jongin grabbed hold of the tinier male and they snuggled to his delight. Though Kyungsoo didn't like the touching, he decided to let it go and ignore it to be a good hyung, which in the end made Jongin only appreciate Kyungsoo even more.
