Emily's P.O.V
"This is a stupid idea." I said to no one in particular as we all tried to hide in Logan and Tatiana's living room.
"It will be fun I promise!" Tatiana said.
"Yeah, when Vanessa has a heart attack it will be absolutely hilarious." Sweet Pea whispered to me as I smacked him on the arm.
"Shut up and hide." Logan said slipping behind Sweet Pea and I and behind her couch. Tatiana was also already out of sight.
As I saw a pair of headlights shine into the front window, I pulled Sweet Pea just below the kitchen counter.
I heard the door open and close before Vanessa's voice called out.
"Logan! Tatiana! Where are you?"
When the thought hit me we all hadn't decided when we were gonna scare her, Vanessa screamed and the unmistakable should of her fist colliding with someone's face sounded through my ears.
Sweet Pea and I just made eye contact before coming from behind the counter and seeing who she had hit.
Logan was on the floor half crying and half laughing.
Vanessa was sitting next to her on the floor also laughing as she tried to apologize before erupting into laughter again.
Tatiana just shook her head.
"Wow, this was a bad idea who would have thought?" Sweet Pea said from beside me as I just laughed too.
The comment seemed to have broken Vanessa from her state of laughter to look at him and I.
"Ahh, Emily!" She yelled before wrapping her arms around me in a hug, before pulling away. "It's feels like it's been a lifetime."
I just laughed as she turned to Sweet Pea.
"Hi, you must be Sweet Pea." She said before shaking his hand.
Her eyes seemed to travel his body as I tried to ignore her.
"I know I just got here but it's late so I think I'm gonna go crash in the other guest room." She said before giving me another quick hug and helping Logan off the floor before disappearing down the hall.
"Hey I think we are gonna head up too." Sweet Pea said slipping his hand into mine.
"Night guys." Tatiana and Logan responded at the same time before heading towards the kitchen to probably get some ice for Logan.
"I'm tired." I said smiling at Sweet Pea before he rolled his eyes and picked me up bridal style carrying me up the stairs.
"You are lucky I love you."
"I love you too." I mumbled into his chest before drifting off into sleep.
