Sequel to Baby Girl!
Now that Emily and Sweet Pea are out of high school, they realize that they are going to have to put effort in their relationship for it to work.
When things take an unexpected turn, will they stay strong or fall apart?
Emily couldn't seem to open her mouth or move as she stood there awkwardly.
Sweet Pea stood up and walked so he was next to her.
"You good?" He said looking into the car.
"Hi." Sweet Pea said confused at why everyone was acting so weird.
"Hey, I'm Morgan." The girl in the car replied.
Sweet Pea raised his eyebrows before letting out a soft, "Ohhhh..."
He turned and looked at Emily, breaking her out of her trance.
"You good?" He asked placing his hand on her shoulder.
This seemed to bring her back to reality. "Yeah I'm fine." However before she could say anything else Logan called them over.
"Listen I don't know about you two, but I don't want to stand in the rain and wait for another Uber, so I'm getting in the car with satan over there." Logan huffed out.
Sweet Pea and Emily just looked at each other before Emily spoke.
"Fuck it let's just go."
The trio piled into the car, Logan sitting in front while Sweet Pea and Emily sat in the back.

As the car pulled up to the house everyone was pretty quite. Granted they hadn't really said anything but it wasn't horrible.
"Just so you know, your getting four stars... for Emily's sake." Logan said all the sudden causing Emily to face palm.
"Logan why would you- never mind let's just go." Emily said before Morgan caught her eye in the rear view mirror.
"Hey could we talk?"
Everyone in the car stopped moving for a moment waiting for Emily to reply.
"Uh... yeah um... y'all can wait for me in the house?" She said turning towards Logan and then Sweetpea. Logan just shot her a look before hopping out of the car as Sweetpea quickly followed.
Emily slowly turned back towards Morgan waiting for her to talk.
"Listen...I know you don't particularly trust me or want to be around me... or even like me... but Emily you have to know that I didn't mean to hurt you. I was young and stupid and didn't realize how good you were to me till it was too late."
Emily sighed.
"I get that and I guess maybe I've been holding on to this for a long time..."
"I'm not saying we have to be friends or ever even talk again but I guess I just wanted to let you know I was sorry."
Emily ran her hands through he hair before letting them fall at her side.
"Thanks that... means a lot."
Before she could say anything else Emily pushed open her door and headed inside.
