She pulled up to her brand new house .. She was so excited to be moving into her own place, under her own rough, have her own rules. You don't know how it feels to finally live alone. She parked her car in front of the house on the street with the Uhaul truck passing her pulling up in her drive way .
She jumped out her car into the shinning sun with a big smile plastered on her face. She couldn't believe all her hard work had finally payed off . She walked to the back of her car, opening the trunk .
" Miss ! " one of the Uhaul men said .
" Yes " she answered .
" Would you like help with the boxes out of your car ?"
" Yes please I would really appreciate it !" She smiled .
She went up to the door and put her key in the hole turning it to left. She turned the knob finally in her new place and it really was a new place with the living room , bathrooms, kitchen and basement remodeled she felt complete .
After an hours of carrying things into the house she tipped the Uhaul men and they left. She sat on the porch just enjoying the weather looking up and down the street at the neighbors their houses. Everybody's houses on the block look so happy , so full of life. She could wait to bring life into her own house because she had to admit, the house kind looked dull , gloomy. It was something about the house that made it seem like it was under a dark cloud but maybe that's because the house was more in the shade . The sun dominantly beams across the street .
" Hi ! " she heard snapping her head to the left.
" Hello " she stood up from her chair.
She walked across her drive way to the gate being greeted by a older bald dark skin man looking in his late 30s early 40s . He had on sunglasses and he slightly put them up sitting them on his forehead .
" I'm Lenny , your neighbor " he put his hand out .
" I'm Deja " she smiled shaking his hand .
