Yoongi laid in bed, his eyes fixed to the ceiling as Kumamon slept soundly on the neighboring pillow. His hands were locked together on his stomach where his quilt met his bare skin and his voice was tired, cracking a little as he spoke aloud, "Do you think he'll want to go on a second date?"
Only the silence of his empty studio apartment answered him.
Yoongi turned to glare at his sleeping feline, his eyes narrowed and his lips set in a pout, "Of course he'll want a second date. He probably wants to visit my apartment to see you again, since you stole him from me you spoiled punk-ass." Kunamon's luminescent green eyes flashed open to stare back at Yoongi, a small yawn escaping him. The yawn was followed by a rising body and a long stretch, thereafter he leapt from the bed to the hardwood floor. Yoongi listened to the pitter-patter of bean toes against the floor then grunted, turning his head to face the ceiling again, "After everything I do for you, you go and steal the first date I've had in months. Fluffy back-stabber."
Ding.
Yoongi shifted in his bed, reaching for his phone from his nightstand, sliding his finger over his lock screen to reveal a single notification from Jimin:

Yoongi smiled softly into the light of his iPhone, not because Jimin had a nightmare, but because Yoongi was the person he had texted about it over anyone else. He responded shortly after, attempting to lull his romantic interest back to sleep -- which eventually resulted in neither of them falling back asleep.

Before Yoongi had even realized it, their next date was set to happen in two days. He pulled his quilt up to his chin and smiled into it brightly, his phone no longer vibrating as Jimin had fallen asleep a few minutes before. He couldn't wait to see his romantic interest again, just the thought of it caused butterflies to awaken in his stomach.
