the chapter name, i'm actually so original, gET OUT MY FACE

"so wait, you're changing you're entire look, for a boy?" michael shook his head at aubree, who just nodded. "oh, well, okay, if you're sure?"

aubree nodded again. she was more sure of this than anything else in her time on this world. she was seventeen, if she doesn't make a few silly mistakes now - when will she?

"well, then," michael cleared his throat, leading aubree into the piercing and tattoo store. "you can't get a tattoo, because you're not eighteen yet, but you can get a piercing?"

"i know," aubree smiled widely, "i googled it. i just want my septum done for now, nothing too extreme. maybe an eyebrow piercing, we can match!"

michael laughed, placing his arm around his best friend's shoulders. "you can do whatever you like, princess," he kissed the side of her head, "they'll heal if you take them out."

aubree practically vibrated with excitement, running over to the counter like an excited puppy, michael trailling behind lazily. "i also wanna dye my hair, something bright and exotic. you're good at dying hair, right?"

"right," michael smiled at how cute aubree was being. "you give me the colour, i'll make it happen."

"lilac, or blue, or pink, or just white, i don't know, there's so many choices, oh my god," she giggled excitedly as the man came behind the counter.

"what can i do for ya?" he asked, eyeing aubree with amusement.

michael smiled proudly, putting his arm around aubree's shoulders. "my best friend here would like to get some metal in her face," he spoke confidently, smiling widely.

"okay, right this way."

"i thought you said you only wanted your nose done?" michael laughed at aubree, who just smiled widely at him.

"i'm allowed to be adventurous, michael," she raised her now pierced eyebrow, and michael's smile grew.

"never said you couldn't be adventurous, but damn, audrey, you got your nose, septum, eyebrow and both sides of your lip pierced," he exclaimed, staring at his friend.

"they're called spider bites, and they're punk rock," aubree playfully scolded michael, who just rolled his eyes. "i decided what colour i want my hair died."

"what colour would that be?" michael teased her, raising his pierced eyebrow in time with her.

aubree laughed, hugging michael's side. "lilac, please," she battered her eyelashes at him, and he ruffled her hair.

"consider it done, let's go get some dye."

and that's exactly what they did. they went into superdrug, and picked out the most lilac-y purple they could find - which of course was way out of aubree's price range after her piercings, but michael insisted on paying.

once michael'd purchased her dye, he dragged her into h&m, and told her to pick out some jeans and a cool shirt, his treat. at first aubree wouldn't stop refusing, until michael threatened to go pick her something himself, and make sure it was expensive.

aubree walked over to the huge sale part of the store, picking out a black pair of jeans in her size. she looked at the material, before holding them up against her figure and nodding. she then refiled through the shirts, looking for something cute, but not too cute, to complete her look.

"aubree?" a voice behind her sounded, and she froze, recognizing luke's voice instantly.

"oh my god," she whispered, before turning around and smiling sheepishly.
