WEEK 6
The previous weeks has seen a lot of changes occur in the team, team numbers has reduced drastically to ten girls. The girls has been leaving the team to join music clubs, culture clubs, and even debate teams. The coach is not completely bothered, he believes minority can make a difference as opposing the view of the principal who doesn't want us in the qualifiers at all, as he believes failure is inherent.
That aside, the team now enjoy some form of growth since Laura took over power from me. To be honest, she has all the leadership attributes a person should have, sometimes I think she's the coach. About if I've gotten over having to hand over power, I got over it the third day after my handing over, I was gon' drop it sooner or later anyways, did I think I was gon' captain the school into the qualifiers? Maybe, maybe not, it wasn't going to happen anyway.

(Bell rings)
“Guys we have to leave now, let's go take our test. I wish everyone luck uhn... Be good!" Laura says disbanding the team after the early morning training.“Kylie..... What's up with you, are you not leaving?" Laura asks, facing me.
“Nah! I've got something to catch up with"
“You're not serious right? You're not missing the test, are you?" Laura asks wearing a rather surprised face
“I think I will pass. Like I said, I've got to complete my training" I respond
“But that's all we have been doing all morning" she insists
“Babes.... I think it you who's running late now, I"ll catch up with you"
“Better do!" Laura answers, giving up and leaving me on the pitch to catch her test
I"ll have to miss my culture test, I never really did like the class. The only problem here is mom complaining about not taking the test, I"ll have to figure a way out of her trouble as always.

“What are you doing over there?". Oh my God! Why am I so unlucky?, why do I have to face the principal again at this odd moment? How on earth did I forget Dr. Dave the principal of the school has his usual morning inspection at this hour. This training thing has taken over my whole thought. How come am his scape goat now, oh my, I still need to answer the principal, I gotta get out of my head now.
“Ermm...I...am...training!, training for the competition, I think I need to learn a thing or two" I answer the principal shakily
“Are you kidding me? At this hour? Aren't you supposed to be taking a test right about now?"
“I....I didn't take note of tie...time" I reply with a more shaky voice
“See me in my office immediately!" the principal leaves saying these words
No, no, no this cannot be happening. I just got myself in some deep mess, I will have to face the principal in less than two weeks after our first meeting, last time I checked, our conversation didn't go well. And now I just got me another ticket to his office, I guess this is the end for me, what else can breed a worse feeling than what I feel right now.
**********
“Come in, I see you" the principal says as I attempt a knock on the door that enters his office.
“You said to see you immediately sir" I propose
“Yes..yes, because you've violated multiple rules of the school and the sport club you belong to"
“Aright...." I answer taking a deep breath
“I promised you our next meeting wouldn't be favourable didn't I? You just acted like you wanted a show and I will give you one. Come along with your mom tomorrow, the school will send her a message that it is urgent, you only need to confirm that to her. And about your team, I don't want to see you around them or the game or the pitch for the next two weeks, your coach can decide whatever he wants to add to that. Violation of any of these sanctions means total exit from the team and an inherent suspension from school can't be faraway. Have a nice day!"
“Sir, Dr. Dave, principal Dave, my mom would literaly kill me, plus the qualifiers is in four weeks"
“You heard me, leave my office"
Leaving the principal office, I discovered how much of a jerk I've been all this while. From not taking school exercises serious, to dedicating all my life to playing basketball, to not caring for my teammates and finally missing school test. Now I have to come to school with my mum, face coach and also face strict punishment.
