"And, we're here!"

Diana winced at the light hitting her face from the window, as she stared from inside the car. She removed her earphones before getting out of the vehicle.

"So, what do you think? It's pretty small but it's enough for the both of us. It's beautiful and cozy as well." Harox said and smiled at her.

She roamed her eyes around the new house where they would be staying inside the city.

"It's fine." She said, clearly not interested in what kind of house they would live in.

A woman entered the scene and went out of the house. She had a beaming smile and a lovely face.

"Hello there young people. You must be the ones staying in this house, am I right?"

"Yes miss. My name is Harox and this is my sister Diana." Harox said and gestured to Diana standing beside him.

"Oh please come in!" The woman said and ushered them to the house.

Harox immediately got their bags and walked alongside Diana as they entered. It had enough space for the both of them and it had a homey atmosphere.

"Here are the keys and contact numbers in case of emergency." The woman said and handed a box to Harox.

Diana looked at the woman from head to toe and felt a little uneasy about her presence. The woman's smile had something off about it. But she can't figure out what.

"Thank you miss." Harox said and kept the box.

"I will be leaving you two now. Have a good day!"

Diana squinted her eyes at the woman who just left, before shrugging it off to look at her brother. She carried her bag.

"I'll be choosing my room." She said and walked upstairs, leaving her brother to fix their things.

"Okay! Just don't shoot anyone while i'm gone!"

"Of course...not!" She stuck her tongue out and raced her way into the closest door she could find.

She walked across the room and found her walking towards the window, only noticing now that the left side of their house was close to a small forest. She smiled to herself thinking that she might have fun in this place after all.

Diana took her bow and arrow and stealthily jumped out of the window. Mind you, that was a two floor jump.

"He'll notice soon." She giggled as she stared at the house, thinking that his brother would panic once he finds out she went outside.

Diana ran towards the forest and leaped on a tree branch. She quickly jumped from one tree to another, adrenaline building up inside her. She felt the air hitting her face and felt free.

However, a silent noise stopped her from running.

"Shit."

She immediately held onto a branch to stay steady when she heard someone curse. Diana furrowed her eyebrows and looked around her. Someone was there.

Taking out her bow and arrow, she aimed and circled around her, looking for a hint on where the person might be. Strangely, she didn't feel threatened at the presence of someone else. Instead, she was thrilled.

"Where are you?" She muttered under her breath.

The moment she turned around, a man jumped in front of her from above the trees. She aimed her arrow at the person while the latter raised his hands in surrender.

"Woah there! Chill. I'm not going to hurt you." Said the man.

Diana smirked and kept her arrow aimed at the man, "I know better than to trust the words of a stranger."

She eyed him from head to toe. He seemed pretty decent based on how he was dressed. But as the saying goes, don't judge a book by its cover.

"So, why were you watching me?" She asked.

The man cocked his head to the side and brought his arms down. "You were pretty amusing." He said and smiled at her.

Only now did she notice his thick English accent and his dimples when he smiled. She had to admit that he was pretty charming but still, dangerous.

"You must enjoy being here. Don't you?"

"What do you mean? I hate being in cities."

The man chuckled. "I mean in areas like these. Nature and all that."

Diana knitted her brows and continued to observe the man in front of her.

"It's none of your business." She deadpanned.

"How could I stop being in your business, when you're being an open book? Tsk. Too easy to read."

Her grip on her bow tightened. She hated being insulted.

"Based on your actions, you're not from here. You choose to spend your time here jumping on trees instead of going shopping at the mall and other girly shit. The way you hold your bow seems like you're really used to it. So I suppose that you could be hunting a lot in some rural area. Instead of being frightened, you enjoy the thrill of having someone follow you like me so if you were thinking of me as a threat, you should've shot me earlier. Do I need to sa--"

Out of impulse, Diana fired her arrow, stopping the man from talking. Her arrow scratched the man's right ear forming a cut and hit the tree trunk behind him.

Diana smirked as she saw him a bit surprised and approached him. "Don't act like you know everything about me mister stranger. Before you go spitting all that nonsense, you should know that you're more likely to get hurt around a woman aiming an arrow at you."

She walked to the tree trunk to retrieve her arrow and went in front of the man again.

"I'd rather have you not piss me off. I can hurt you more than that." She said and pointed to the cut she made on his ear.

The man just looked at her with a serious face and made no reply. Diana abruptly stopped when she remembered her brother who might be looking for her as of now.

She cursed under her breath and prepared to run back to the house, when the man held her hand. She turned back to look at him with a cold expression.

"Remove your hand or i'll chop it off for you."

The man immediately let go of her hand in defeat and reached out to her for a handshake.

"I'm Tiger." He said and smiled at her.

"And I don't care." She said sarcastically and left him hanging. She turned her back and ran to the house.

"Oh you will soon. We'll see each other again." He said, smirking.
