To Keep From Getting Burned (A Motionless in White story)

Chapter 3

(I plan on making them longer. I never really realize how short they are till I look at it on here as if I was reading it. Sorry <3)

"So guys.." Ricky said while picking up plates, "what'd you think?"

"He's good. Probably enough to be with us. We just need to make sure he knows the songs, which it seems like he does. And his sister, she's cool. But maybe we should ask if she has a friend or something that could help her out? I'm thinking Reina could be a dancer since Francesca has to be with Mike now.." Chris says.

The guys agree with him.

Rick's phone starts playing 'Tears on Tape'. He answers his phone.

He walks in the other room to talk. When he comes back he's smiling. "They'll do it. And Reina has a friend she wants to come help her with merch stuff."

~A few months later~

Two days until Warped. The band was ready. Everyone was packing the bus. Reina, Logan, and another girl showed up. Logan was holding hands with the other girl.

She was about 5'2", had teal/blue hair that went down past her butt. She had sea green eyes, wasn't extremely skinny but was more average to slightly bigger. She was wearing pretty much a full face of makeup, which was weird to the guys because they were pretty much driving all day. She had a lot of jewelry on and had on a black tank top with a light black and white flannel, and black Jean shorts. She had a pretty good amount of tattoos.

"Hey guys!" Chris said, smiling, and walking over to them. "Who's this?" He said while looking down at the girl Logan was with. She was extremely short compared to Chris.

"I'm Lexi. It's so nice to meet you. I'm a huge fan." The girl says, smiling.

Reina walks over to Ricky who was loading under the bus. She taps his shoulder. He turns and smiles, then hugs her. "Hey." He says softly. He smelled like cigarettes and cats. "You look nice." He smiles. Reina blushes.

Balz walks over and puts an arm around Rick, smirking. "The two little love birds."

Reina starts dying after he said something about birds. They look at her funny. "O-oh-" she laughs "nothing. It's a long story."

They all finish packing then head on the bus. Everyone stakes out their bunks. There wasn't enough room for Lexi and Reina, so Lex was sharing with Logan (which is fine since they're dating), and Ricky was trying to convince Reina she could have his bunk.

"It's seriously fine. I don't need a bunk. I can sleep on the couch in the back." He says.

"Ricky I'm not gonna make you sleep on the couch." She says.

"Well, I'll be fine. Seriously."

She glares at him.

"Fine. I'll take it. But I'm not making you stay on the couch. You're welcome to share with me, Re." He says, and it makes her blush. She crawls in their bunk, and puts her pillow down.

Logan and Lexi were in their bunk, setting things up. Lexi was putting up Christmas (fairy) lights, and pictures while Logan was watching.

Logan picks up a picture. It was a picture from a photo booth from a fair they had gone to. It was their first real date. He didn't think Lexi had saved it. He smiles. The first box was them making faces, then the next was both of them flipping the camera off, after that one of them doing a cute cuddly/hug thing, and the last was Logan kissing her cheek. She looks at him and smiles softly, taking it from him.

"Yeah. I kept it. I know I'm sappy." She says softly and puts it up.

"No, no, it's cute. I'm glad you kept it." He kisses her cheek, then travels kisses down her neck. She giggles.

Once everyone is packed, and everything is ready, the band hits the road towards their first date of Warped.

~First date of Warped Tour~

Everyone was running around, getting things ready.

Lexi and Reina were out, setting up the tents, and the tables. They were putting merch stuff out, then getting the stuff for the signing after the boys' set.

"You know, if you want, you can go watch them." Reina said, while putting up shirts.

Lexi freezes. "R-really? I mean..I know you want to but..I'm okay with staying if you want to-"

"No. Really Lex. I insist. We can trade tomorrow. It's cool." Reina says.

Lexi starts bouncing up and down and hugs her best friend tightly. "THANK YOU!" She yells, giggling. She grabs her lanyard with her pass on it and runs towards the main stages.

She uses her pass to get backstage and goes over to where the guys were setting up.

"Hi!" She says excitedly and hugs Logan. The other guys laugh.

A huge crowd was forming in front of the stage.

Lexi kisses Logan's cheek. "Hit 'em hard babe." She says and goes sidestage to watch the set.

~After their set~

Before Logan can even get all the way off stage, Lexi runs to him and kisses him on the lips.

"You did so good." She says, pressing her forehead to his sweaty one.

He chuckles.

After everyone gets cleaned up, they go with security back to the tents.

~Later that night~

Everyone was at the barbecue.

Since there weren't any other seats, Reina was sitting on Ricky's lap. They were both eating. After a while, they go back to the bus. He shows her how to get on the roof of the bus. They go up together and sit on a blanket. Ricky lays down and pulls her with him, putting her head on his chest. They look up at the stars.

"Reina, I don't want you to say yes if you feel rushed, but..will you be my girlfriend?" He says softly.

A smile spreads across her lips. "I-I'd love to." She turns, moves up, and kisses him softly.

They both fall asleep up there, and Chris comes up to get them down before they start driving to their next venue.
