A Trip Through Time

Chapter 1

Alex

Alex and Kaiden were heading to the Library. It was a pleasant afternoon, and they were both on their way to pay Xiraxus a visit. The sun was shining brightly overhead, and the school campus was looking livelier than before, it being the start of spring and whatnot. They headed into the Library foyer and descended the stairs leading down to the endless corridors of doors. At her mental willing, Alex had opened a door to Draekora and she and Kaiden had both stepped through.

Any view of Draekora was breath-taking with the hundreds of multi-coloured Draekons inhabiting it, and today was no exception. The Library doorway had left them on a small rocky outcrop at the edge of one of the floating islands, and they had no way of walking across to any other island. Their only way was to fly. Alex mentally called out a greeting to Xira, telling him where she and Kaiden both were, and it was only moments before he came swooping out of the sky and landing in front of them.

"Aww, Alex, miss me already?" the draekon smirked, followed with a greeting to Kaiden, gesturing as best as he could for the both of them to climb onto his back via his giant, outstretched wing.

Alex grumbled complainingly, and Kaiden grinned and slowly helped her up Xira's wing. They all didn't need to be reminded of the last time Alex tried to scale her humongous companion in the Lendasa Marna, the real "Sky Kingdom" above Vardaesia.

After she and her boyfriend had settled down on Xiraxus's back, he turned his large head towards them and spoke. "Well, just before you two arrived here, I was on my way to visit an old friend of mine. He lives quite far from here, so I will need to travel through the abrassa to get to where he is. Now, the question is, would you two like to come along with me?"

OK, so hey again, it's me, and this is the HTTYD/TMC crossover I said I would start! So I know that (and I'm sorry for the fact that) this was a very short chapter, but I'm working on it, 'kay? Jumping between writing one fanfic to the other is a bit new to me, cos I'm used to just focusing on one at a time. And even that I'm not great at! Soooooo... This is it! Hope you guys enjoy! I'll be hoping to update this thing soon (ish).
