After she had lost her parents, she moved in with her sister, so she can always be there for her and so they can take care of eachother. She loved her parents very much and it brought her down every now and then and she watched her sister go downhill day by day and she was determined to make her be herself again. Ariel hides it pretty well but deep down its killing her to not have clarity in the unfortunate event. Skylar could understand though because ariel was the closest to them because skylar didnt know them that well. She had lived in a total different environment for her whole life and barely got reunited once again with them and it was just not a year later they got violently ripped apart from them. She still rememberd the last thing they said to eachother.
Flashback
"Mom! Dad! Im going out with Ariel! Be back in a few hours, dont wait up!"
*muffled distant yells*
"Yeah yeah whatever goodbye! Love ya"
She replays those words over and over again untill she cries herself to sleep because the feeling of guilt washing over her like rain during a blood storm. She knew something was wrong but never thought nothing of it. She should've went back. She could've, but instead being her selfish self wanted to get out of the house for a while.
