This is an AU. It's sorta like a modern version which takes place in.. uhhh a bar lol

"What's a pretty lady like you doing all alone?" You scoff and shake your head slightly then turn around to see what kind of monstrosity decided to hit on you today.

"Go away, Mark." You say, rolling your eyes at the redheaded man who hit on you quite often. "Oh come on, (Y/N). Why don't I buy you a drink, eh??" Mark said.

"Ugh, fine," You reply, giving in. Mark was nice, and if he stopped flirting with you all the time you would actually like to be his friend. "But only as a friend. No hitting on me."

"Alright," he sighs. "Though it'll be hard.." You chuckle lowly, letting Mark call the bartender over. "Can I get uh one tequila and some hard grape juice?"

"Hard grape juice??" You laugh. "Hey, it's actually really good!" Mark pouts. You glance over at him but something else catches your eye. That bartender actually looks really handsome...

You feel the heat rise from your cheeks and quickly look away. The bartender you were looking at had a slim figure and fair skin. His hair was black with white at the tips and was cut to his chin.

He wasn't smiling, which made you think that he was bored. He glanced your way, and you locked eyes for a moment. Oh god. His eyes are such a beautiful shade of gray... You smiled a bit and gave him a wave.

He adverted his eyes and finished mixing the drink he was preparing. He handed the tequila to Mark, who gave it to you with a smile. The bartender went to grab a bottle and returned a short time later with Mark's drink.

"Thanks." Mark said, taking a seat at the bar next to you. "So," you spun around to face Mark. "What's been happening lately? I haven't really seen you around much."

"Ah, that." Mark nervously scratched at his neck. "I sorta joined a gang. You can't tell anyone, it's the rules." Your mouth flew open. "Really, Mark? A gang? God, I can't believe you."

"It's not like we do that bad of stuff." Mark said. You sighed, and downed your glass. "Excuse me," you call over the smokin' bartender from before. "Can I get another tequila?" You ask.

"Sure, it'll be my pleasure." He finally spoke, simultaneously melting your heart with his voice and making you forget about the nuisance sitting next to you

"Uh, (Y/N)? You alright?" Mark says, trying to shake you out of your staring. "Umm, yeah." You glance down slightly, and notice the name tag on the bartender's shirt.

"Akutagawa..." You murmur. He must've heard you because he lifted his head slightly and looked in your direction. Quickly turning to hide your blush, you accidentally hit your drink and it spills all over your lap.

"Shit!" You say, raising your voice slightly. "Here's a napkin, (Y/N)!" Mark says, shoving a wad of white napkins in your hands. "Uhh thanks, Mark." You say.

"Here. This should work better." You look up and find yourself staring into Akutagawa's captivating eyes. "T-thanks." You stutter, delicately taking a wet rag from Akutagawa's hands and cleaning yourself.

"How about I give you another drink, on me." Akutagawa says, taking a hold of the rag you used. "Oh um, yes. I'd like that." You say, smiling.

He smiled back too, and set down a piece of paper in front of you. "Here's my number. Oh, and if you're wondering, I'm free tomorrow night."
