The light crept through the partially opened blinds pulling me from a deep slumber.
Didn't I close them last night...?
I had quickly decided that even if the sun was flipping me off in its own special way I wasn't going to get out of bed.
I shuffled slightly so that the pillow blocked the overly bright sun.
Seriously had it ever heard of a snooze button.
I barely registered that the other side of the bed was bare before slipping back into sleep. I didn't pay much mind as I heard footsteps instead burying my face farther into the pillow.
My foggy mind recognized the slight squeak of the bedroom door opening. Light footfalls were heard getting closer to the bed. Then it was suddenly quiet. Probably too quiet.
The weight of a full grown woman was suddenly thrown on top of me. I let out a definitely not high pitched scream of surprise.
"WHAT THE HECK BECKY?"
I looked up to the Cheshire grinning woman on top of me. My ruby eyes bore into her dark midnight blue eyes.
No time for swooning! You are supposed to be mad.
She huffed blowing some dirty blonde hair from her face before sitting herself on my chest.
"You are no fun, Silver," she stated exasperatedly.
I groaned and dropped my head hard onto the pillow trying to return to sleep; even though my fiancé is trying to suffocate me.
"You need to get out of this apartment."
Her voice was serious. I guess I won't be returning to dreamland for a while.
Oh well! It was worth a shot.
I lifted myself up by my elbows before arching an eyebrow at my dreadfully delightful fiance.
"I get out, besides there are things I need to do around here," I say defensively.
"Like what?" Becky asked challengingly.
I cursed her ability to look through me so easily.
"Well, there is still unpacking, cleaning, and stuff." I try to come off casually, but Becky didn't seem to be buying it.
Becky hummed.
"Yes, so much cleaning and unpacking."
I watched her gesture to the spotless room and our empty suitcases in the closet. I, however, was still not ready to admit defeat.
"Well, there are other things I need to do you know?"
Becky's face clearly screamed "really".
"Yeah, I have really important stuff to do."
"May I ask what this important stuff is?" She asked skeptically.
Can't really blame her since I really am pulling shit out of my ass right now.
"No."
"No?"
"No."
"What do you mean no?" Becky was now looking down on my arms crossed.
Unless I find a way out of this quick I'm royally screwed.
I sigh in annoyance which isn't completely fake.
"Becky, I would sure hope you know what no means," I say with fake bravado cause Becky can be scary. "And if not my dear we have a problem."
A smile split across my lovely yet scary fiancé's face.
