"Hey...um....you wanna watch a movie?" My father, in his mansion library, asks me, his visitor, nervously. I think he really didn't want to leave us.....Chris...I think he regrets it..or maybe it's favoritism, as Chris says. "Sure" I say, smiling to ease his nerves, he looked relieved, glad I wasn't mad at him. But to tell the truth, I don't care, and I'd SHOW him how much I didn't. if he dosent want to be in me or my family's life, I don't want him here. But he's here now so I'll take it easy on him. I walk down stairs to see my brother on the couch switching through the Chanel's viciously. I think he didn't take Dad coming back so suddenly, so well. As soon as he saw our father he got up and walked back up the stairs. "Do you wanna watch a movie?" He called after him. No response. Obviously. Being the persistent man my father is, and wanting to have everything, and peace with his son, he walks after him, attempting to bring him back down. "Dad just Leave him al-" he cut me off with a calm tone "No, he needs to know I'm sorry." He continued walking up stairs and knocked on the door down the hall. "Wanna watch a m-" "GO AWAY" he shouted from inside the bathroom. My father sighed. "I'm sorry". My brother swung the door open. "YOUR SORRY? ARE YOU SOORY? YOU SHOULD BE SORRY TO MOM, TO MY MOM, TO HIS MOM" he states angrily cocking his head at me. "ITS TOO LATE FOR SORRY, MY MOM WAS SORRY" he sniffed at that statement. "SORRY THAT SHE COULDNT HAVE A LOYAL LOVER AND A SON AND LIVE HAPPILY, OR LIVE AT ALL". Silence filled the room. "I'm gonna take a shower" he says, regaining his calm, walking away from the hallway bathroom, to the bedroom bathroom."George can we talk? Mom called from the office, from printing some papers, walking past him, not making eye contact, down the stairs. Dad followed, head down. I couldn't read his expression. It was one of distress, and shame I bet. "Jesus, take the wheel" I say as I walk towards my brothers room, wanting to talk to him. I hate seeing him upset. But when I got there the door was cracked open.
