The days were growing longer as the winter fades spring, although the birds were singing a spring tune it was being drowned out by the sound of fighting and loud cheering. Along the banks of a small river in a large open clearing, two large wolves were brawling whilest a large crowd cheered for either the one or the other. "Come on Mason, you dare not lose to a girl!" One of the men in the crowd yells as he laughs taunting one of the fighters, another shoots out another taunting comment as the fight carries out.

The wolves both panting heavily while only the ones fur is stained dark all over the body whilest the other has only a small patch of light staining on the left hind thigh. The slightly larger of the two pounces and pins down the other down with ease and bites down on the throat, pushing the wolf into submission and like that the fight ended. Releasing their grip the wolf backed up while the other slowly rose up, shifting back into human form.

The wolf how had lost the battle revealed to be the man called Mason, tall, dark and handsome would be the perfect description for Mason. Standing in the nude Mason received clothes from the man who had given out the first taunting comment. "You will not be watching me fight again Arthur." The man called Arthur looks identical to Mason only a little older. The man next to Mason was seemingly the younger brother of the two, "That means you too Peter." Mason sternly says as he takes the clothes Peter was holding and turns to see his opponent sitting looking all high and mighty.

Mason takes a few steps towards his opponent, but struggles in taking them, he had mild wounds all over his body from the fight. Tossing the clothes onto the wolf's head as to cover the eyes, Mason and the rest of the crowd were all men while his opponent was not. Growling the wolf shock it's head and dropped the clothes before gently picking them up in its mouth and quickly moved out of sight.

A few moments had passed and Mason was now wearing only a pair of shorts while stepping out from behind the tree line emerged a young woman wearing thigh high dark blue dress and bare footed. "Well well seems that I have beaten you again Mas." she taunts as she steps closers Mason and his brother. "Well Catt can you stop beating us senseless." Peter cries out and pouts whilest acting upset with the girl named Catia.

Catia threw her one arm around Peter and began to tease him about all the fights he had lost to her, Arthur didn't take long before joining in on the teasing. "Catia!" a loud stern voice echoed over the joyful chatting of the crowd, a man pushed his way through the crowd, "Father!" Catia replied with a cheerful yet worried voice. "Catia, you have other issues to deal with rather than fighting..." he sounded frustrated and somewhat disappointed in Catia.

"S-sorry father, I shall return home with you." As she replied she bowed her head slightly before linking her arm with her father's and left heading back towards the packs main house. Mason finally spoke once Catia was gone, "How in the hell is she able to beat all three of us the sons of the Alpha! Her ranking in the pack is only beta, even in her wolf form she is larger then us three!" Mason was upset and couldn't understand why a lower rank wolf than himself is stronger than him and even his father.

Arthur laughs and Peter shurgs his shoulders "We don't know Mas, but Catt has always been stronger than us even including father." Arthur spoke clearly as he began walking back to pack house, "Maybe she isn't a member of this pack and maybe she is an Alpha's bastards daughter." He said as he continued on walking with Peter trailing behind him "We shall never no Mas."

A calm clear voice echoed over a private link between the three brothers 'You three are late for the newest pack briefing, hurry up will you.' the bothers looked at each other before replying in unison 'Yes father.' before they took off into a sprint towards the pack house.

Upon arriving at the door to the Alpha's office the brothers all took a deep breath before Arthur pushed open the door slowly with a loud creek. Stepping into the room they were taken by surprise to see Catia seated on the couch next to the desk which was centered in front of a large window. Alpha David was standing behind his chair with his back to the door, "You finally made it." he spoke in a soft calm voice as he turned to face his sons.
