Missing Piece (Klance AU)

Chapter 1 { Keith }

                                                            Coffee Shop 

Beep, beep, beep.  My alarm clock  yelled in my ear. I sat up with a moan. Yet another day at collage, I thought then remembered  it was winter break, Yes!  I walked  out to my kitchen and looked out the window. Lance McClain with his messy bed head hair, light Hispanic skin, and shinny light blue eyes. This morning he wore a white ting-top and black basketball shorts. He has been my crush since elementary. We both went to Garrison Elementary school until I moved away in 5th grade. When I got to high school he was in ALL my classes. He remembered me but I pretended I didn't know him. My dog Cosmo licked my hand, he was probably hungry I went and feed him then returned to the kitchen "Good boy." I said then continued to look out the window.

I am one-hundred percent sure Lance will never love me back,  he's always flirting with this girl named Allura. I guess he saw me staring at him. He smiled at me then winked. I rolled my eyes then looked away before he could see me blush.

I went to brush my hair before getting dressed. I put on a red lion sweater with blue skinny jeans. I looked on my dresser for my grey beanie. I walked out of my apartment heading to the  Coffee Shop. 

When I got to the coffee shop I ordered a black coffee and a few chocolate cookies  than sat down by the window seat. While I was eating my third cookie I saw some girl with her boyfriend. She was laughing like he just said something funny. I sighed watching them laughing and hugging. Then saw some boys from my school. Lee, Victor, Jack, and Jack's girlfriend Penny. They're always hurting me (verbally not physically but i'm sure they would). I went up to the counter and asked for a bag. I put cookies in bag and grabbed my coffee. 

As I walked out of the shop and hid in the town square park. Jack apparently saw me and walked up behind me. He pushed me to the ground. "Well look here guys." Jack said, "It's our gay little friend." The rest of his group laughed.

I stood up. He pushed me again. "Is there a problem here kids?" A tall man said. Jack looked at him "No sir me and my friend Keith were just messing around." 

What a kiss-up. I thought. The man raised an eyebrow before saying " Alright." and walking away.

Jack grabbed me by the collar and dragged me into an ally. "I haven't seen you outside of school before," He smirked "You have a punch-able face." He slammed me against the brick building on the left. I fell to the ground and heard a crack. My vision blurred and my arm stung. Jack picked up a shard of glass on the ground . He used the glass to cut me. I tried to scream for help but it came out as a gasp that sounded like a shriek. Jack continued to scratch me. 

"Hey!" I heard someone yell, "What do you think you're doing!" Jack and his gang ran before they got in trouble. The boy (they sounded male) ran towards me. "Hey are you okay?" He said. I groaned in pain, "Don't worry i'll get you to the emergency room a.s.a.p."  Two shining blue eyes was the last thing I saw before it went black.
