I ran through the woods as he chased me, terrified and unsure of what he was going to attempt. He finally began to run out of breath after a while and I could slow my pace a bit.
I could hear him still walking through the woods so I still had to keep moving. I hope I'm going towards civilization, I'd hate to be trapped out here with this maniac of a person. I know that he's probably drunk, but still. Very unsettling..
A few hours later I stumbled upon a hollowed out tree, a large one too. Large enough to fit a good bit of people in fact. I ran in and just kept running, looking around in the darkness. Finally I found my way to a secluded part of the trunk and sat there. I reached for my phone and checked where I was from the GPS on my phone. I actually wasn't very far from my town, only about two miles, in fact. I waited to hear him in the woods again before ducking out of my hiding spot and booking it to the town.
I wonder if I'll make it. I hope so
