A/N So I wrote this baby up super quick, and I think it's adorable! Hope you all like it, thanks for reading!

“Miss Makayla, we’ve talked about this. You cannot be away from the boys. They go on stage, you go on stage. Do you understand that?”

Harry Magee was downright infuriating. I’d heard rumors that their management was awful, but I thought it was just fangirls going over the top. This man however just wasn’t understanding how much I could not get on stage with the guys.

“Can’t I just sit in a chair off stage and watch or something?” I asked. Liam was trailing behind me as we walked down a long hallway to the first rehearsal. It was only luck that Harry Magee was there in the first place so that I could bother him.

Liam rolled his eyes at me playfully. “You won’t be singing Maka. You’ll just have to stay up there with us. And I’m sure we can get you a chair.”

“I don’t care if I’m up there, I just don’t want to be seen up there.”

Harry Magee cleared his throat. “Makayla, either you go on stage with the lads or we get you a plane ticket back to America. Which is it?” He walked away suddenly without an answer, already knowing exactly what it would be. I didn’t want to go home yet.

Liam paused with me in the hallway while we watched his getaway. “Don’t mind him, he’s just busy is all. And tour is the most amazing thing in the world. I promise that you’ll love getting to be up there with us. It’s the best feeling ever, absolutely mad.”

Liam was easily the one I got along with best in the six days I’d been with them. He and I had a lot of things in common, and he was just so nice. He really seemed to understand how hard it was for me to adjust to their crazy schedule.

“Thanks Liam,” I told him with a smile, “but I’m a wreck. I don’t even have to do anything, and I feel like I might puke.”

“Tour isn’t even for a few months,” Liam laughed. “Trust me, you’ll have plenty of time to get used to the idea of getting up there.”

He hugged me quickly before opening a door to our right and leading the way into a huge warehouse-type area. There were a lot of people in there. Most of them were leaning over blueprints and making notes. It looked like a few others were making a plan for how the stage would be set up.

Niall and Harry were in the middle of it all; Harry’s hands running through his wildly curled hair and Niall bending over backward to let out one of his adorable laughs that just melted my heart. Niall was probably the most carefree person I’d ever met. I don’t think I’ve seen him actually concerned about anything yet.

And Harry was almost an exact copy of everything good I’d ever read about him. He was always a gentleman, and very sweet, but not in a way that made you think he was just pretending. At the same time he was very much an average guy. I don’t know if he knew this, but I’ve overheard a few of his jokes and a couple of them were very inappropriate. Hilarious as all get out, but I bet none of the boys know how funny I think naughty jokes are. They’ve all been very cautious when it comes to being too boy-ish around me so far.

Kind of like when I dated this guy named Alex a few years ago. He wouldn’t fart in front of me because I was a girl, even though I actually think farts are more than a little funny. Most guys I’ve talked to have this thing where they just can’t be the gross boys everyone knows they are in front of a girl until they know her a little better.

“Maka! Liam!” Harry shouted, now putting the top half of his hair into a ponytail. I fought the urge not to cringe. I really just wish he would get a haircut. If it fits in a ponytail, it’s absolutely too long.
