It has been a while since I have written home, my apologies.
Around the office, there is a certain rumor spreading of an impending vote of no confidence gathering support from both major parties. My co-workers are rather upset, as you can imagine, since Salvatore's administration has done wonders for our department since he first took office.
In my opinion, there is no need for concern; Salvatore's successor is likely to be just as well. Never has the thought of transferring to another division crossed my mind!
Perhaps, this is also my chance for a promotion, given that I approach my superior with caution. Of course, Amarosa is a stingy one, and not likely to award any bonuses, but I can hope. Something tells me the latest SIA investigations will be immensely fruitful for his career (and mine) and thus timing is crucial if I am to approach him. I have been most diligent around the office, and already have been nominated for the most-valuable employee, something quite prestigious given my short time here. There is no doubt Amarosa has taken notice. I have no illusions about my work, but if he aims for higher office, I do see a way up the ladder for myself. Of course, I'm merely speculating again, but this all works in my favor if the rumors around the office are to be believed. Nevermind, I have talked about my aims long enough, please write back when available; I am eager to hear from home!
Regards,
Alexandria Russo
