Scott and I met back up with the twins after I composed myself.

"Did you tell him?" Ethan asked.

"No. He's got enough on his mind right now." I said.

"If they're coming for you in a few hours then so do you." Aiden said to Scott.

"What if it's not me? Okay? What if I'm not the one they want?" Scott said.

"Who else is there?" Ethan asked.

Just then Scott turned around and saw Kira and looked to me and my phone started buzzing in my pocket, Chris Argent was calling me.

"Hey." I said, stepping away.

"I'm gonna need you back here."

"The real problem is Katashi doesn't see visitors. Ever. He's a paranoid recluse who rarely steps outside the gates of his estate." Chris said.

"So how are you going to get to him?" I asked.

"Oh, he's got a thing for rare, antique weapons. Yesterday, I had some contacts put out the word that I was selling one from my own collection." He said, walking over to his cabinet. "This is a French Flintlock Turnover Pistol from 1645."

"You're not going alone." I said.

"If she's going I'm going." Isaac said.

"Me, too."

"To be honest, I don't feel good about bringing any of you." Chris said.

"They were looking right at Scott when the sun came up." I said.

"Well, that doesn't necessarily mean he's the one they're going after." Chris said.

"But if he is?" Allison asked.

"If he is, that might only leave us till nightfall to come up with a way to protect him." Chris said.

"All right. Let's go see if a paranoid yakuza wants to put another gun in his collection." Isaac said.

Argent and Isaac left the room and Allison and I were alone.

"Brooke-"

"I'm doing this for Scott, and for my brother whose running himself rampid and hasn't slept in three days to the point where he had to go home today after some psychotic break. Not for you." I said, grabbing my bag and leaving.

We were sitting in the car when Chris' phone vibrated.

"What is it?" Allison asked.

"Katashi won't do the buy in person." Chris said.

"But he's a paranoid recluse. Shouldn't you be a little less surprised?" Isaac asked.

"I was trying to remain optimistic that we wouldn't have to go to my Plan B." Chris said.

"Plan B?" I asked.

"And what's Plan B?" Isaac said.

"How tall are you?" Chris said as he popped the trunk.

"Oh boy." I said, jumping out of the car.

Allison, Chris and I were going over the blueprints on the hood of the car while Isaac changed by the trunk.

"Guys." Isaac said from the back. "This isn't going to work. I look ridiculous. I mean I look like I just stepped out of the last period of a Catholic prep school." He said emerging in a full suit, damn he looks good. "And there is no way that I'm going be able to remember all this. I mean, what does this even mean? 'Revolving over and under barrels'?" He rambled.

"All you have to do is keep them talking long enough to allow us to get inside and find Katashi. He may not be there for the buy in person but He won't be far" Chris said.

"You look great." Allison said, making me roll my eyes.

"I am sweating, all the way through my jacket. I didn't even know that I could sweat this much." Isaac said, looking at me and I dropped my head.

"Hey, dad. Give them a second." Allison said, making me lift my head up.

Chris looked just about as confused as I did but Allison shoed him off before whispering to me. "Go get him, calm him down. Fix this. You got it."

When the Argents left I walked over to Isaac on the side of the car where he was practically hyperventalating.

"You can do this. You're not a boy if you walk in there acting like a man. Okay?" I said, I grabbed his shirt and tucked it for him while I talked. "Go in there with confidence and all they'll see is a boyish looking man." I said.

"Or a stupid teenager pretending to be a man. I'm going to get my head blown off by a bunch of Japanese fingerless mobs-" was all he could get out before I stopped fighting my instints and grabbed his face.

When I kissed him, I could feel how nervous he was, and he didnt know what to do with his hands, so I took one hand off the right side of his face and grabbed his other one and placed it on my back, guiding him a little south of my waist, if you know what I mean.

When I pulled away, I smiled and he had an adorable smirk, "How do you feel now?" I asked.

"Let's do this thing."

Isaac grabbed the bag and sunglasses before heading inside.

"Here's where it gets tricky." Chris said.

"See. I told you!" Allison rejoiced.

"Yeah." I said.

"You're still mad at me?" She asked.

"You still went after him." I said.

"Girls, save the chit chat. We gotta move." Chris said. "You sure you're ready for this?" He asked me.

"As I'll ever be." I said, taking a deep breath. "Let's move."

Chris guided us through a back door and we all broke off.

"Hey." Allison whispered. "With me. If anything happens to you, I'll never forgive myself."

"I'm fine."

"Brooke, drop the act. You have no live experience. You're with me." Allison said, tilted her head in the direction she wanted us to go.

We saw two guys and Al took one out easy and I took the other. We found our way to the room we were looking for right on time.

"Allison. Take the mans gun." Chris said as Al whipped a chain and knocked the gun lose. "Now can we talk?"

"Guys?" I heard the voice of Isaac and saw him with a large werewolf with claws to his neck. "They have a werewolf, too."

Chris took out the mask and laid it down on the table.

"Starting to remember?" Chris asked and the wolf released Isaac. "It was 24 years ago. You know what they are, don't you?"

"They're called oni. They are demons. And they are unstoppable." Katashi said.

Freakin' lovely.
