When something is chasing you,
You run.
And you keep running until whatever you're running from has long left your view and you are safe.
That something may be a person, place, thing, thought, feeling.
Whatever it is you run.
And you run, and you run until you can't run anymore.
And it catches up to you, suddenly you have to face the thought, thing, feeling, person or place you've been running from.
You have to choose to swallow it or let it swallow you, that decides what person comes out of the pain.
Whatever happens that person is you,
Whether it's a stringer you, or a sad you, or a broken beyond repair you.
That person is you and it's up to you to live through it.
And you will live, because you've been running but you can't run anymore.
So you'll face it head on and you'll live. You'll live.
