Misaki's POC:
It's dark outside and for once I actually worry about my sister. Except, what do I see? Her hugging a guy of her own free will in front of our own house? Yes. With no ulterior motives, possibly! I called out to her by waving my hand even though she was so close, but for some reason she didn't seem happy. Though, that boy she's hugging looks like he's seen a ghost. Wait, is Akari glaring at me? Well, now this is a first.
Akari's POC:
Of course, my sister has the worst timing ever. Kuro looks like he's lost it. *sigh* Guess I have to explain... I turned towards Misaki, grabbed her hand, and stood by her. I took a deep breath and said,
"Kuro, this is my twin sister Akari. Akari, this is my ...er... friend Kuro. Uh, yeah. I met him at the park nearby a couple weeks ago and we've been hanging out ever since. Akari smiled and hugged me as she screamed,
"Aah! I can't believe it! After all these years you're finally gonna find your own happiness!" Kuro and I stared at my sister dumbfounded for ten seconds until I realized what she meant. Luckily, Kuro didn't understand. I spoke up not wanting to be misunderstood by her,
"Misaki, you've got it wrong. This is my friend...nothing more than a friend, and nothing less than a friend." Kuro's eyes shifted from me that moment. He laughed and silently muttered,
"Oh, I see..." Huh? Why does he look so upset? He realizes that I'm not serious right? Akari then let go of me and said,
"Eh? That's too bad. Oh well, nice meeting you Kuro!" Kuro nodded in response and began to walk away. I quickly grabbed his arm before he got any farther from me but, he brushed it off and kept walking. I stared at him as he continued to walk and was eventually out of sight. Eventually, it started to rain as I stood in the same spot he was in just a little while ago. Why am I so? Such an idiot...
Misaki's POC:
"Huh? Why do I get the feeling that I did something bad? Or said something I shouldn't have said?" Akari for the first time ever looked as if she was heart broken. I could feel myself shiver as I felt guilt weighing on me. Akari walked past me quickly trying to hide her face even though the rain did a pretty good job doing it. Sadly, it didn't work. I could see a single tear glisten down her face. I...I'm terrible...aren't I?
~Time Skip~
After a few days I decided to talk to my sister. I thought that the boy I met a couple of days ago might come back but he never did. Now here I am at school, on the roof, sitting in Kaiba's lap still wondering what to do to fix this. Wait, that doesn't seem right. Sitting in Kaiba's lap?!!! I could feel him tighten his hold on me as soon as I flinched.
"Misaki stop moving so much or else you're going to miss fourth period." Why? How did I get myself into this mess! Oh yeah, he was mad about me being late for our first date. So, later today were gonna make up for it. Wait, later today? Oi, just forget it. First date huh? Hmm... That's funny, I can feel myself turning into my sister right now. Making unfavorable situations bring you benefits...Turning your weak points into your assets... I've got the perfect idea!
"Hey Kaiba, will you do me a favor? Please?"
Kaiba's POC:
This girl, she's plotting something and she's not doing a very good job hiding it. This is going to be troublesome...
"Misaki, you know what my answer is right? If it's for you I don't really care. As long as you shut up for the next ten minutes and let me recharge."
"Recharge what?"
"Well now, you're just begging to be eaten aren't you? You better not regret saying that later today."
"Why would I? Eh, ow! What'd you bite my neck for?!!!"
