Chapter 7: Goofball

(Louis POV)
'This kid staring into my souls jeez and I thought clem had a scary death glare' my inner thoughts chimed As the little man pulled my hand out of clem's . "Wactcha you doin there goofball?" Clem asked
"Clem that boy with the mop on his head was holding your hand" he explained. "Mop!?" I cried "this is perfection little one!" Clem faced palmed. "AJ this is Louis" she chucked as she took both of the boys hands and made them shake. "Louis hmm is he your boyfriend?" AJ asked a smirk on his face and his eye brows raised. "What No!" Clem stuttered.
"Not yet" I winked.
"Idiot"
"An idiot you love"
"Nope!"
"Alright" I smirked unconvinced
"You know I'm right here lovebirds?" AJ interrupted we both blushed uncontrollably I didn't realise we had already started walking we where far from the school gates. "So..you want me to walk you guys home?" Louis asked
"No it's okay I have to drop him off his parents house anyway.
"Oh alright,we'll see you tomorrow?"
"For sure bye Louis"I said then Louis Bent Down and gave me a quick kiss on the cheek 'Oh.My.Gosh.'my  inner thoughts screamed : OMG OMG omg!! Did that just happen?!?😍😳 clem stay cool omg! Eeeeee ! My face went bright red and a looked down he lifted up my chin and whispered: "bye princess" and with that he walked down the other road to his house giving me and a very confused AJ standing in awe. We carried on walking. "Clem what the fuck just happened?" AJ questioned.
"Alvin Junior!" I said my voice going stern "no more cursing!"
"BUT YOU CURSE!" He whined
"Do as I say?" I replied waiting for him to respond to our catchphrase
"Not as I do" he groaned.
15 minutes later we arrived at AJ home
I went up to the door and knocked but I was answered by a "Come in dear the doors open!" Auntie Rebecca was home -which was rare considering she had to work full time at Howe's Hardware. I causally opened the door and made my way into the kitchen where Rebecca was washing the dishes and Alvin was keeping and eye on the stove . "Mommy!" Exclaimed as he ran into Rebecca's arms "Hey my perfect little man" she laughed fluffy of up his afro with her her wet hands. "Don't I get a hug to?" Alvin asked as he swooped AJ onto his shoulder "I missed you to dad!" AJ squealed as he tried to kick free. "Heya Clem!" Alvin greeted "You have the 30 from your dad?"
"Yep!" I answered as I opened my back pack and handed him the dollars. " You staying for long this time honey ?" Rebeca asked drying her hands
"Wish I could but I have heaps of homework from the first day!" I explained. " so I better get going"
"Okay dearie be safe okay?"she reassured
"Sure thing" I said as I exited the house and started walking home.3 minutes later I am walking quite to my house when "Hey Cle-mi how u do-." *bleugh* .Oh MY GOSH. "Mr Ben what the fuck!" I scream as I am drenched in his sloppy vomit. "Sorry darlin lemme make I up to you~" he suggests grabbing for my waist "Oh no, no thanks man!" I reply moving out of his grasp. "Just one lil kiss"
"Your drunk!"
"And your hot~" he says this time grabbing my wrist I try to wriggle away but his grip is too tight. A car pulls up and it's window roll down. "Now your gonna come with me don't fight me missy!" He demanded "GET THE FUCK OF ME!" I yell,but it's no use the street is empty we live far from other houses so it didn't how much I tried to scream but part of me didn't want to karate chop him either he had just lost his family 3 months ago and. He turned to drugs and alcohol to fix that pain. Then a familiar figure came out the car,Thank the heavens It was Lee. He ran up to Ben and square him in the jaw making him tumble to the ground. "Get away from her!" He shouted
"And what! Your not her dad?" He moaned
Lee fists Clenched
"If I see you near her again You just be falling on you ass your be falling into a grave!"
Ben lay on the floor
"Clementine get in the car"
"Okay."
The drive home was silent Lee looked angry but upset at the same time we where thinking the same thing: 'what would of happened if he wasn't there?'
