The day outside was stormy gushing rain from the heavens splattered like paint on the ground and surrounding trees and bushes. Three boys sat a circular table inside a small condo, all wielding dice, pencils, and paper. One boy grabbed a sheet of cardboard that happened to be leaning against the wall.

It wasn't a particularly large piece of cardboard, it was only three feet tall and five feet wide. Thunder smacked the boy's ears and the building begun. The first boy started to draw stick figures with a permanent marker he had found in a cabinet. The second boy conjured an army of monsters from paint he stole from art class. The third boy pulled out a ruler and started to draw massive walls, mines and incredible feats of architecture.

But it wasn't time to fight just yet. The world was still being created by the young artists. The first boy's stick figure population grew every minute each with bigger and better cities and buildings. The second boy's monster hive found a queen and the darkness started to multiply by the thousands.

The third boy started to create weapons of war, nukes, tanks and airplanes were being made by the hundreds in factories created by many workers. But it still wasn't time, there still was enough land to go around "But not for long!" A small, crippled wizard from the caves spoke out, "This is only the beginning of The Great War! You will see it, you will ALL see it!" And just like that he disappeared back into his dwelling in the cave.

Hours and hours passed as the boys created war machines and defensive barriers. But as they were building farther and farther out they realized they were getting too close to each other's land. Something must be done, they all looked at each other, rolled the dice and fought! The hive was first, they started to tear up and destroy everything in their path. Infecting others only to make the hive stronger.

They were too powerful for any type of resistance and soldiers tried to run away only to get caught by the unstoppable darkness. The stick man empire didn't even get to attack as they were pounded to the ground by the hive and it's forces.

The architects were next, trying to prove they still had enough power to defeat the hive and it's minions. But the relentless attacks on the defenses led to the collapse of the empire, the darkness was victorious, but they were hungry for more and more! So they killed off the rest of the stick figures with a smooth blow and infested the architects home so no one could get in or out. But the war, was far from over...
