I glanced over my shoulder and saw them. The monsters, bugs whatever you wanna call them they were there, right in front of me. I motioned Parra and Gomez to run and the bugs noticed. One of them opened their mouth and let out an ear piercing screech. I didn't care, I needed to get a job done. So I grabbed a pipe from the cold ground and slashed at the creatures.
A green goo gushed from one of the insects head and it fell to the ground dead. The other two bugs jumped on me and tore my skin with their barbed claws. The barbs gripped my flesh and ripped it out of my body. I screamed and the world started to fade and as it did I saw two men with rifles start to shoot the bugs on top of me. One of them yelled something and picked me up. I couldn't hear it though because the world darkened and completely faded.
Writers note: Sorry if the chapters are getting shorter. Sometimes you gotta go fast...not really but sometimes.
