Two years later Taylor graduated as a RN and transferred her credits to UNC to do their BSN Nursing program. She applied to one of the local hospitals close to the college and enrolled Mila into a daycare program. Her parents helped her find an apartment close to the college and she packed her and Mila up and headed to Chapel Hill NC. She fixed up the apartment with the help of her mom and stepmom.
She fixed up a spot in her bedroom for her to have a desk so she had a place to do her homework and fixed Mila's room into toddler's room and bought her a toddler bed since she was now 2 and half years old. Once she got moved in she got enrolled into classes and bought her books at the bookstore and did grocery shopping. She also went by the hospital and got her badge and pager met with her boss and got her schedule.
Taylor only had morning classes and worked till 12PM-8PM during the week and on weekends her mom would come and watch Mila so she could work. Meanwhile Lance was gearing up and training for the next round of Olympics he soon forgot all about Taylor as he continued to sleep around and train. Every once in awhile her memory would pop into his head but for the most part she just a ghost of his past.
Taylor spent many nights being up till 2 in the morning doing homework while Mila slept. Taylor was doing her best to be a working single mom and a college student. She was thankful for on call rooms as she would take naps when she could at work which helped her to be able to her homework done when she could.
She found new respect for her mom who had her 18 and went into nursing school while taking care of Taylor. Taylor soon realized that her mom was incredibly strong and tough to take it on all by herself even with her dad in the picture. Taylor spent alot of nights sleeping on the couch with her books on her chest.
