It was the morning of her doctor's appointment and the day after Lance won more gold medals. She was listening to her Pandora on her phone then Christina Perri's "the words" started to play as she drove to her appointment and she started to feel tears fall down at the words of the song. She wiped her tears as she arrived at the doctor's office and waited for them to call her name.
"Taylor Baker" the nurse said
She smiled and walked to the back. The doctor came in just like her appointment with Mila she did her usual exam then did the ultrasound. They gave her a DVD copy of the ultrasound and copies of the ultrasound pictures. The doctor let her know that she was due in March and that she was 10 weeks pregnant.
She went back to work after her appointment was over. Once her shift was over she picked up Mila from her mom's house who picks her up from preschool. She made them some dinner and that night at bedtime "So Mila mama has something to tell you." she said
"What's that mama?' Mila said
"You are gonna be a big sister.. mama has a baby in her belly." she said
She gasped "I hope it's a girl mama I want a little sister." Mila said
"We will just have to wait and see. The baby has to grow some more before we can tell if it's a boy or a girl." Taylor said
Mila smiled at her and said "Good night mama I love you. I'm glad you never left me." as she hugged her.
"I love you to much to leave you baby." Taylor said then kissed her good night then left her room.
Over the next several weeks Mila asked her questions and talked about all the things she wanted to do once the baby was born especially if it was girl. But Taylor was glad the one question she didn't ask was who the baby's daddy was. Lance was in LA over the last several weeks since being back he struggled with what he should do he missed Taylor and Mila. He hadn't sex with anyone since that night that Taylor sent him that message about how he hurt Mila.
It was now two months later and Taylor had her Facebook Live going and she said "Okay Mila baby you to find the cupcake with the color in it. If it's blue that means the baby is a boy if it's pink it means it's a girl got it."
"I got it mama." she said as she tapped her finger against her chin.
"Hmm which one to pick first.." she said
Lance was watching as he sat in his apartment and Mila started to take a bites and then she said "I found it mama."
"What color is it baby?' Taylor said
Mila turned it around and said "It's pink..it's a girl.."
Lance looked down "I'm getting a baby sister mama we will take good care of her mama." she said
"I know we will baby." she said as she ended the live stream.
Lance locked his phone he looked over at his medals and then he booked a flight back home to North Carolina. He put all of his stuff in his two big suitcases and traded in his car and turned in his apartment keys and left LA.
His dad picked him up and took him to his house and he put his stuff in his old car and called Taylor.
"Hello.." she said
"Hey.." he said
"Hey you know it's like midnight here right?' she said
He was driving to her house "Yeah I know." he said
"Then why are you calling." she said
"Because I miss you.." he said
"Lance..I know you don't mean that I'm sure that you have been with other girls since we last talked on the phone." she said
"No.." he said
He quietly shut his car door and trunk and wheeled suit cases up the driveway. "Open your door." he said
"Open my door.. why would I open my door at midnight Lance." she said as she walked downstairs and opened the door.
"Lance.." she said as she took the phone off of her ear.
He opened the screen door and kissed her and picked her up and started to make out with her. "Taylor I'm sorry..I'm sorrry for everything you do things to me that I don't like you make me better I just want you and my girls. I can coach or work at the gym I don't care as long as I have you back in my life again." he said
She kissed him with tongue "Get your stuff and get your ass upstairs quietly." she said.
"Yes ma'am." he said as he got his suitcases and they went upstairs to her room.
The next morning Mila woke up and came into Taylor's room "Mama I had a ..daddy!!!" she yelled when she seen Lance.
"Where are you clothes mama?' Mila asked.
"Busted" Lance whispered
"Mila honey did you have a accident?' Taylor said
"Yes I did.." she said
"Okay well go change your clothes and I'll clean it up ." she said
"Okay mama." Mila said
Taylor started to pull her clothes on when she felt Lance sit up behind her and started to kiss her shoulder blade she looked over at him and kissed him. He place his hand on her a baby bump "You look adorable pregnant." he whispered
She smiled and rolled her eyes. She left the bedroom and changed Mila's sheets then started to make breakfast. Lance saw Mila in the living room "Daddy come here mama made me a playroom in this room." she said as she dragged him downstairs to the basement.

"Oh Mama is awesome." he said
"I know I can't wait to practice with you daddy. I 'm glad you came back home." she said as she hugged his leg. He picked her up and hugged her "I"m glad to baby girl." he said
Taylor came down stairs and said "Not to ruin the moment or anything but breakfast is ready."
"You couldn't ruin anything." he said as he pulled her in for a hug.
