(10) Damn You, Lance

Lance facetimed Taylor every night before Mila went to bed so he could tell her good night. Then the trails started Taylor and Mila would watch the re run of the program at night cause she was at work when it ran live. "Wow mama Olympic gymnastics are awesome." Mila said 

"Yeah baby." she said as she got up and left the room. 

Mila found her folding clothes in the laundry room "Mama why didn't you go with daddy to do gymnastics." Mila said 

She picked up Mila and sat her on the washer "Because mama found out she was having you." she said as she tapped Mila's nose. 

"Is daddy coming back?' Mila said 

"I don't know baby he might but he's busy right now he's got Olympics on his mind right now and he has to focus on that." she said 

"Okay..I hope so I had fun with him." Mila said 

Taylor smiled at her. "Yeah I know you did baby." she said as she picked her up. "Let's get you ready for bed baby mama has work tomorrow and you have daycare." she said. 

Lance was in his hotel room having sex with another girl and missed his nightly phone call with Mila. Taylor closed the door as Mila cried and she whispered "Damn you Lance." as she wiped tears. 

She went into her bedroom and pulled out her phone and sent him a text.

"I knew you didn't mean what you said cause you just broke your little girl's heart. She watched your trails and couldn't wait to talk to you and now she's in her room crying cause daddy didn't call. I hope she was worth it Lance Tucker. Don't call me again my answer is no still." 

Lance got it when he got out of the shower and sat down on his bed buried his face in his hands. "Damn you Lance." he said to himself. He couldn't even muster up a reply. He finished out trails and went back to LA to continue training. 

As the weeks wore on Taylor started to feel off it was now August the first week of the Olympics Mila still wanted to watch even if she was mad at Lance. While she was watching Taylor was upstairs in her bathroom and she read a positive pregnancy as she turned around "No..not again Lance.." she whispered as she leaned against the counter and started to cry. 

She got Mila in bed then laid down in her bed and sent Lance a text.

"Are you alone and able to talk?' 

He replied back  "Yeah I am why?'

She press the call button with her headphones in. "Hey ." he said 

"Hey.." she said 

"What did you need to talk about?" he said 

"Lance..I'm pregnant." she said 

"Why are you telling me?' he said 

"Cause you are the last person I slept with you ass." she said 

"Taylor don't be a bitch to me. I asked you to come to LA and now you can't tell me no this time. I chased you around for 3 years in high school not because I wanted to sleep with you but because I wanted to be with you. And all you ever did was insult me that eventually all I wanted was one night with you. I know how to not be all those things you said that I am. I meant what I said in the driveway when I left. I know I screwed up that night and it's killing me that you won't let me talk to my daughter." he said 

"And I'm just suppose to believe that all that time that you were chasing me you were also chasing other tail as well and I"m suppose to believe that you wanted to be with me." she said 

"Yes.. you were the only girl that I didn't give up on. Now I gave you two reasons to come to LA." he said 

"Lance my life is here my job is here I can't just pack me and her up. My dad spent so much money on remodeling this house for me and her. " she said 

"But my coach and life are in LA Tay." he said 

"You can always change coaches or coach someone I'm sure it's not hard for you to do that."  she said 

"Taylor.." Lance said 

"It's fine Lance I get it.. um I'm gonna go now I have work tomorrow. Bye" she said as she hung up. 

The next morning she made herself a doctor's appointment for two weeks away. She ignored Lance's phone calls and text messages and decided that it was best to not let Mila know that she talked to him.
