Chap 7 - Leaving and Summer

Y/n's POV

It's time my own and my best friends Fred, George and Lee's first year of Hogwarts is over and Slytherin won with Gryffindor in second place and now we were heading home for the summer. I don't want to leave really Hogwarts became a second home to me, where I made amazing memories with my friends from pranks, training with Oliver Wood and playing a few matches of Quidditch as the seeker with the number of twelve Potter on my back sports robe but at the same time I know I'll be back here soon.

Y/n handed the Ravenclaw Prefect her luggage as Lily stayed on her shoulder nearly a fully grown owl as her own mum. "Y/n!" A gruff voice shouted out and a deep barks beside the man. She looked at the side seeing Hagrid and Fang walking towards her, Y/n looked at Fred smiling. "Be right back save my seat please." She said before walking towards her half giant friend and his boar hound. "Ello Hagrid, Fang." She said before petting the dog whom licked her hands. "I've got something for you and your brother Y/n, took a bit of time and looking around but I think you'd both like them." Hagrid handed the girl a pair of red leather bound books trimmed in gold. The young girl opened one book up slowly seeing a two moving photos, one of her parents holding her and Harry smiling happily. Mum was holding harry and dad had me waving with a smile. The next one was me as a newborn being held by my godfather Severus Snape with two men beside him, long wavy black hair and pale blue eyes and wearing a leather jacket holding my stuffed Padfoot . The other man had dirty blonde hair and scars on his face as he gently took me from Severus and read to me. Happy tears slide down Y/n's face as she hugged Hagrid then the books. "Thank you Hagrid really this is wonderful." She said before walking back to the train and into the compartment where Fred, George and Lee sat in. "It's strange going home isn't it?" Lee asked them as Y/n smiled looking out the window at Hogwarts and Hagrid. "I'm not going home, well not really." Y/n said before opening up her window and waved goodbye to Hagrid whom waved back as the Hogwarts Express pulled away to begin it's journey back to King's cross train station; Platform 9 3/4s.

The four pranksters planned future pranks along with joke sweets in the making as they snacked on jelly slugs, cauldron cakes, chocolate frogs and every flavor beans before having a jelly bean fight as they did on their first train ride to Hogwarts. As the train stopped at the platform   the friends got off as Lee ran off with his stuff to his parents as Fred, George and Y/n grabbed their stuff and ran towards the Weasley clan whom were talking to Uncle Vernon, Aunt Petunia, Dudley and Harry. The boys looked up and smiled running towards Y/n. "Sister!/Cousin!" Y/n moved in front of her trolley cart and hugged her brother and cousin close as they did her. "Oh, I missed my favorite boys so much!" Y/n shouted while Fred and George cleared their throats in unison. "That's painful N/n." They pouted til Y/n rolled her eyes and tackled hugged the red headed twin and kissed their cheeks with a smile. "Oh lay off you mischievous pranksters. Your my best friends and I'll see you guys again next year, oh you better owl me or I'll give you two a pranking of a life time!" Y/n said meaning every word while she and her family went home, Bill Weasley teased his twin brothers mainly Fred for his burning red cheeks.

Later at home

Y/n gave harry his own photo book and told him all of her adventures, Quidditch matches, her classes and her professors, joining the frog choir and her pranks with Fred, George and Lee yet she didn't tell him about the map since it was best kept a secret for now, She opened up her window and opened up O/n's cage as her owls flew off to stretch out their wings with glee. Y/n looked at the marauders map late at night along with her photo album seeing a photo of her dad with blue colored hair chasing after her on a toy broom holding his wand smiling and the writing below it. "Y/n playing with her daddy's wand, dying his hair blue haha our own little prankster!" Love Lily Potter. Y/n wiped her tears away from her eyes then got to her schoolwork early so she could focus on teaching Harry from her first year books that is until an old owl crushed into her bedroom. "Errol! Agh you poor thing." She sighed softly before taking the letter noticing Fred's writing and read his letter with a smile on her face.

Y/n laughed softly before she wrote back yes but sent O/n so Errol could rest for the night at her home. Summer was fun with Y/n teaching Harry from her first year books and cooked for the family so Aunt Petunia could rest her feet while the boys tried the leftover wizard sweets she had brought home along with planning Dudley's and Harry's birthday. During her quite nights she would send letters to Fred, George, Lee, Oliver, Angelina, Katie and even a Hufflepuff boy she met on the Quidditch Pitch by the name of Cedric Amos Diggory back and forth with O/n. While singing a song about her and harry as she looked at the bright stars in the sky believing that her parents were always watching over them proud of her and Harry, their children and the wizarding world's saviors.
