It's a book of ancient times" I walk to Lillie as she opens up a book, she has a fascination with them. Sorta makes me feel happy I don't know why though. "What's it about?" She traces her finger across the crisp page "The Pokemon Mew it's so pretty, anyways it says 'Mew the mythical Pokemon it says here it was able to turn invisible even around others sights an-' huh?" "Why did you stop?" Lillie gasped "The words here were the ones Mew said to others telepathically but it's in ancient writing" I want to try I grab the book looking at the ancient text "Greetings I am Mew I do not wish to harm you, a battle between a creation from me named Mewtwo will happen. Mewtwo seeks to be the strongest and will fight against all strong trainers. I shall be there to aid in battle it may be my last fight ever. I wish for no one to fall during battle, once it starts I'll be there to try my best to convince Mewtwo to stop this once and for all." My head hurts "(Y/n) how did you re- Are you okay?" "My head..." Why am I seeing this stuff? A battle ground? ...That Pokemon in front of me isn't it Mewtwo? I can feel my senses dim as the world tilts slowly.

I harnessed a pink barrier around me, as Mewtwo harnessed a blue barrier. I looked below to the humans seeing their Pokemon hurt as they are as well.
Why do you care for them! All they cause is ruin and pain!
Before I could speak I was thrown back. I wasn't able to catch myself in time hitting a wall. I looked up to Mewtwo as they looked at me fiercely.
*A few moments later*
My power is draining this battle is tough. But Mewtwo is drained as well I attacked Mewtwo a few times to defend myself.
Mewtwo tell me, are you doing this because humans gave you pain?

Mewtwo fell to the ground sitting down in exhaustion. "It's down! Go after it!!" No! The human's Pokemon growled ready to pounce on Mewtwo. I won't let them! I quickly get in the way expanding my barrier to protect me and Mewtwo. "Why are you protecting it?!"
I shake my head
No! Mewtwo is not an enemy just like your own Pokemon. Mewtwo is alive.
"How are you sure that Mewtwo won't rebel and hurt us again? You said you will protect us! Not Mewtwo!" I scowled at the human
I said I will convince Mewtwo otherwise! Not hurt anyone!

I nuzzled Mewtwo before feeling all my senses dim as the world faded. The last words I hear:

Ugh my headache is still annoying...what's going on? The last thing I remember is me and Lillie at the library. "(Y/n) your up thank goodness I was so scared when you passed out!" "Huh? I did, that's why my head hurts" I put my hand to my head as Lillie then hugged me. I embraced her comforting aura coming off in waves. The Pokemon I saved it from being hurt I think back then..." "You were part of the fight? But that was 1,000 years ago" I have an idea "Can we go to Kanto?" "We have to ask our parents"
"Mom can me and Lillie go to Kanto?" "Hm? What for?" "Well she showed me her home place I wanna show her mine" My mother nodded.
*A few moments later*
Finally! The Kanto region is as bright as ever. But that's not important right now. "Lillie we are heading to the battleground where Mewtwo and Mew had the battle" Lillie looked at me in shock "You know where it is?" "I think so"
After a two days we made it perfectly on the day where the battle had commenced. "Whoa it's so huge!" "Yeah it is" My eyes landed on who I was expecting to see. "Careful (Y/n) that's Mewtwo there, the book says Mewtwo comes here every year to treasure Mew's great sacrifice" I grabbed onto Lillie's hand "I have to see Mewtwo" Lillie gasped lightly, I know she can see the determination through me. She can read my expressions easily. Lillie nodded as we started walking to Mewtwo.

Mewtwo turned it's head quickly to glare at us.

Mewtwo is talking to us both. "Mewtwo we don't wish any harm upon you" Mewtwo growled, making Lillie grip my hand tighter. "Mewtwo you are here, because 1,000 years ago Mew had a battle with you" Mewtwo looked like it was ready to cry.
Y-you remind me of Mew those blue eyes...Mew promised we would meet again but I never saw them again.
Mewtwo was officially crying now, their eyes full of tears "You really think I wouldn't come back for you?" "(Y/n)?" My voice isn't mine right now. I know this voice, it was mine 1,000 years ago.
Your Mew, Mew I missed you so much. So you got reincarnated in this form? It's sweet haha funny even, I used to hate humans but thanks to you I've made amends with them and I'm free ever since then I've loved my life. Thank you Mew.
"I'm happy you do" Mewtwo hovered down to the ground and I ran. I ran into Mewtwo's arms "I'm sorry it took me so long to get back to you, I'm sorry" I felt my tears spill. Lillie's hand touched my shoulder.

I drifted back down looking at Mewtwo. Feeling as if the happiest smile on my face wouldn't ever go away.
