Chapter 2: Date after Finals

I woke up to the bright light shining onto my eyes. I got my phone and looked at the time 6:04am. I looked around and saw that Yoobin wasn't in bed with me anymore so I got up and go downstairs. "Minji! You're finally awake" Yoobin said while setting down some waffles "good morning early bird" I said while laughing and she just hummed in response

We both enjoyed the homemade waffles she cooked for our breakfast, after that we took a bath and prepared for our final exam in 9:00am. Were wbout to get in the car but she suddenly held my wrist "Minji wait..." I turned around to face her "Hmm? you forgot something?" I asked and she shook her head "I-I'll drive for u-us today" She said while blushing

I chuckled and kissed her cheek "awww, you're still shy doing romantic things to me?" I said purposely teasing her "Hey! it's not my fault that I'm not used to do this kind of things" She said as we got in the car "alright then daddy, drive us to school!" I said and she just blushed so hard "HEY! STOP WITH THAT DADDY THING MINJI!" she said and I just laughed so loud

Time Skip

I walked out of our class room shocked "Oh my god..." I mumbled and I didn't even realized that Yoobin was in front of my already "Hey Minji? You're spacing out" she said and I looked at her startled"YOOBIN OH MY GOD WE'RE GRADUATING NEXT MONTH" I said and she just laughed at me "yes...I know Minji" She said and clinging onto my arm afterwards "Let's go on a date today... I also prepared something for you" She said and I nodded

We got in my car and she insisted to drive again "Yoobin..." I said. The car is fully stopped right now so she was able to look at me "Yes Minji?" she said "I love you..." I responded and she smiled and grabbed my left hand, squeezing it afterwards "I love you too Minji..." The stop light turned to green which made her eyes focus back to the road. She let go of my hand and put it back to the steering wheel.

I'm driving for almost 30 mins already. I told Minji to go on a date with me after our final exam. She really don't know where were going right now because I didn't tell her like, duh it's a surprise. I looked at my side to see her sleeping peacefully. I know that she's really tired right now because of all the sleepless nights we've gone through just to review for our finals.

I'm now finally parking the car and she's still sleeping peacefully "Minji...Minji, wake up" I said slightly poking her cheeks "Hm... Where are we" she asked and I smiled "You better find out yourself" She groaned and opened her eyes. She looked out the window and her sleepy face changed into a surprise one

"Yoobin...are in an amusement park?!" she said in surprise, I handed her a ticket "Yes we are... and we're VIP so all rides are free for us. If you want to buy anything it's on 20% Discount" I said and she hugged me "Thank you..." She said "I know you've been wanting to go in an amusement park... so I thought today is the perfect day to take you to one since we don't have any assignments or project to disturb us" I responded and we pulled away from our tight hug "I fucking love you so much... I'm so grateful to have you as mine" she said

I cupped her face and pecked her lips "I'm grateful as well..." The way she smiled today, gosh it kills me "what are we waiting for? Let's go now!" we got off the car and she ran around like a kid "Hey Minji! Wait for me!" I said. We got to the entrance and the employees asked for our tickets. After we showed them the VIP they gave us an ID indicating that we are VIP guest at the park. I felt Minji grabbed my hand and pulled me into some kind of booth "Yoobin look there and smile!" she said pointing at a camera so I did, but what surprised me is she kissed me on the cheeks.

I blushed so much after that picture and she couldn't stop teasing me. After taking like 20 photos she decided it will be fun to ride a roller coaster and I'm more than happy "Yes! A roller coaster!" I shouted like a kid and she patted my head. We rode the most thrilling one with the upside down loops things. We got out of the ride laughing our ass of because we saw some seagulls and someone called it Justin Seagull.

We did many fun games and other rides. It was already night time, 8:20pm and I remembered the last surprise I wanted to show her "Hey... I still have one more thing for you" I said "What is it?" She replied but I blindfolded her"It's a surprise" I said. I called for one of the staff to help me take her to the ferris wheel. Yes, I rented the ferris wheel just for this surprise... You'll see later. 

I helped Minji get inside in one of the cabin "Babe... are we safe?" She asked but I just pulled her close to me and we both sat down. The ferris wheel started moving which startled her and I just chuckled "Yoobin are you trying to kill us?!" She said "Hey,don't over react... I promise you were safe" I told her were finally at the top and the ferris wheel stopped "I'm removing the blind fold" I told her and carefully removed it. "Yoobin... you don't have to do this really" She said while holding  my hand and I just smiled at her "Minji... We've been in a relation ship for 5 years already and we weren't able to celebrate it properly" I faced her to one of the window that shows the city "I want to tell you again that I love you with all my heart. I want to thank you for being patient with me..." I back hugged her resting my chin on her right shoulder "I promise you... one day we'll get married and build a happy family" I said just after I told my last sentence Fireworks started shooting out the sky.

We both looked at the different colors and shapes of the fire works. She faced me and cupped my cheeks "Thank you Yoobin...  I want to let you know that even just being with you can already make me happy" She said I leaned onto her and kissed her passionately. We pulled away because of the lack of air "I love you too" She said. We stayed in that position until the fireworks display was done and the ferris wheel started to take us down.

We both got out the cabin tightly holding each other's hand and big smiles plastered on our faces.

I never knew this date will go well... I'm so happy to be with you Minji
