UnicornMann's POV
"Please..." I was giving Casper a taste of his own medicine: torture. "I never got to tell her..."
"What? That you love her? Well I'll tell ya now, bub. That ain't love. Love doesn't allow you to even think of killing your lover." I looked down in shame, remembering the beginning stages when I'd experiment on her because I didn't know what this adrenaline rush was. "When I liked her, I thought like you. But I don't anymore, because the feeling is different. It's love. And I won't let you hurt her in the slightest."
I knew that superheroes never killed their villains, but this one was beyond mercy. I threw him into the machine, setting the dials to a slow, painful death.
"Maybe you're right, UnicornMann. I didn't love her..." I ignored him, pulling the lever, but the machine exploded.
Smoke, everywhere. There was coughing, two voices. Me, and presumably Casper, but when I looked up, I saw a floating figure, glowing in a red and blue light.
"W-what the-?"
"Wait... I'm not dead?" The voice echoed. It stared at me, the eyes of the figure glowing bright, his mouth in a smirk. "Well, well, well. A new beginning..." Casper fired at everything- E V E R Y T H I N G in my lab, and flew out the door.
"What? No!" I cried, chasing after the figure, only to turn around after hearing a voice.
"But I did..." I stared in horror at the other figure.
"I loved Goldy, but..." He trailed off. Chicken Man. Sabre. He now lied dead on the floor, and I didn't know how he got there.
I only knew a few things. Sabre was dead. Casper had given up love, and attained true power. And I... I eliminated the wrong person.
T H E E N D
For now! I'm making a sequel, but it won't come out until I finish In the Cards. I know that Eliminate has shorter chapters, so here's an extra, and a small spoiler.
"Goldy-"
"No. Don't talk to me. I thought you knew better."
"Goldy, please-"
"NO!"
"Gah!" I need to hide the body...
